Definitely worth trying. We actually went to the wrong one in Hillsboro. Eventually we found the one in Downtown Portland. My friends and I were famished we ordered almost everything from the Appetizer menu.  We wanted to try a bit of everything and just could not decide. Lol!! The portion sizes were just right, the taste of everything was delicious,... More

We stopped by here in the afternoon for a beer and lunch. The waitress was very friendly, helpful and her service was good. The food was just average. There was little flavor in the Reuben sandwich and in the beef sliders. The calamari was lightly breaded and the best thing we had. The caesar salad was OK and the clam... More

Late dinner after a day of business travel. Sat at bar. Cute bar tender attentive - she didn't know a lot about the beers - but was friendly and accessible. Food portions good. I got the Tuscan kale salad. Overall good but a bit too spicy which was not mentioned in the description. Music too loud.

Visited downtown on Labor Day. Most restaurants closed but we found thirsty lion open. Unfortunately wasn't happy hour so we skipped the beer and ordered sandwiches. Had the Cuban and it was prepared very well. The cheese was not quite melted enough but flavor and portion was great. Also had the blue cheese chicken sandwich. It was excellently prepared and... Great service, waitress answered all our questions and even got to chat with our little family about all sorts of cool stuff in Oregon, food was damn good. And the sample beers, FANTASTIC.

I sat at the bar to order a burger. My bartender was unfriendly, slow, and had poor service skills. Food was alright but nothing exciting. Really disappointing experience.

The food is always great. We have never had a meal we haven't liked. The pizza and burgers are great. I love the mojitos snd my husband loves thd beer selection. I recommend going during happy hour. You can call within 30 to 45 minutes to see how busy it is and get your name on a list.

The food (snacks) and the drink selection are amazing. So many beer on tap! The service was also great. Free drink on the house and a free refill for a strawberry lemonade came as an unexpected but nice surprise. The only downside would be the place was too hot. Maybe the airco was down?

Stopped in for a beer after Saturday Market and was greeted with an ample selection of local beers. The bartender recommended a brown ale, and it was a good call. The wait staff was helpful, food was quite good, and the beer was great. It's downtown prices, so know that going in ;)

We had dinner here. It was enjoyable except for all of the homeless people wandering about. Try to sit inside to avoid this.
