Another gem we found through using Chinook book. Definitely more for carnivores, but the fries...I get emotional just thinking about them...Great lunch spot!

I had soup tomato homemade but the sandwich enjoyed by my friend she just loved. Huge portions, lots of fillings. Lunch crowd was in and out quick. Average price a little over $10.

Lardo isn't necessarily all about the fat - but wowie, it's so lalicious! We ordered the Lardo fries (ummmmmm) and a Banh Mi made with meatballs as well as the Don Johnson. Good cold beers and yummy food - what else do you need?? We were fortunate that there was no wait when we went, don't know why but we... More

After driving from Seattle to Portland, we were looking for a sandwich shop to fill our stomachs prior to wine tasting. The Lardo sandwiches were so fulfilling and unique. For example, my brother had a Pho'Rench Dip, their version on a French Dip ban minh style. For myself, I grabbed a smoked chicken gyro with cream y tzatziki and amba... More

The menu is very unique and changes on a regular basis. I guess you could say the sandwiches are gourmet. All three of us had something different and loved them. The dump fries are a nice change from plain old French fries also.

Visited here on trip to see family who lived nearby. They're always hopping and very popular among the locals. I gad the double burger and shared it

You can't top the Chefwich, otherwise known as a Beef on Wick. This is by far the best sandwich, ever. Real horseradish, the good stuff with a kick, with roasted beets, a yellow mustard sauce, and add French onion sauce on a fantastic salted roll... Mmmmm. I suggest you eat it there else the roll may get soggy. Many reviews... More

Per suggestions we tried the pork meatball banh mi and it was delicious! Definitely gotta try this place. Everything we shared here was excellent. Small dining area and long lines...better to go on an off time

Made it to the Hawthorne restaurant with my grandson. Sandwiches, craft beer and the dirty fries were fun, and we did PIG OUT!

These people really understand what lunchtime diners are looking for. Really interesting choices in sandwiches, the meat was all prepared perfectly. I had the chicken and it was super tall. Had the mac salad as a side. Very good as well. Service was fast and friendly. They take Amex which is cool.
