After a day of traveling I was seeking a relaxed, quality meal that was located not far from Powell's bookstore, and open a but later than 9 since my flight was delayed. Found this place online & reserved on open table - the sign outside was really small hard to see my Uber & I almost missed it- Got a... More

My friend is in love with their Coq au vin and made our reservation before I even knew she was coming to OR! We started with the charcuterie which was delectable. My friend got her fix and was nice enough to give me a little taste, and I understand why she is in love with this dish. I had the... More

The Little Bird doesn't open until 11:30 am so if that's lunch or brunch to you so be it. On the weekend it is only dinner fare as they don't open until 5pm. I visited this restaurant on a short 3 day gastronomic tour of Portland along with 2 other family members who were "foodies". Although we had a reservation... More

We enjoy going here on our visits to Portland. The food is very good, as is the service. We usually request the window table for two. Good wine list.

First of all, it's nice to go to a restaurant that doesn't look like a white industrial box. We had a nice relaxing long lunch here on a weekday. The service was good with friendly staff, very accommodating, answered all dietary related questions to our satisfaction. The food was very good, I had the fresh fish dish. For the price... More

Our meals and service were impeccable! The menu had a nice assortment of choices and food was served promptly. The rolls served immediately were warm and wonderful!! Tasty desserts. Ambience was very nice- a small and personable restaurant. Definitely recommend.

Have eaten dinners and lunches at Little Bird off and on since they have been in business. They are still going strong in terms of food excellence, service, professionalism, and inventiveness. Was able to get in without a long wait, and seeing a couple of staffers who have been there for quite some time, and who continue to excel at... More

As this was our first time to an upscale french restaurant in Portland we were excited to try it. Started with the charcuterie board and it was excellent. Tuna tartar, chicken liver, deviled eggs and chicharron were the favorites. Next up was the escargot and foccacia. Not the best rendition we have had. Mostly sauteed onions mixed in with a... More

Four of us, my wife and I and my brother and sister in law from Seattle had dinner here last weekend. My son, who lives in Portland, had taken his wife there for dinner on her 30th birthday and recommended it to us. We were in town to meet their new baby. It was a festive occasion, and we celebrated... More
