This is a wonderful neighborhood place to get wine and cheese and similar food to go, or to meet a friend or two for a drink and a light meal. They have fabulous sandwiches as well.
If you're visiting the Irvington neighborhood in NE Portland you must stop in for a coffee, sandwich or glass of wine at Foster & Dobbs. Laid back locals, outdoor tables and excellent wine and cheese tastings make this a foodie paradise.

I bought some hard to find Italian cheese and some other stuff, including a fabulous 'Plowman's Lunch' to take to my husband. he isn't a plowman, but enjoyed it immensely.
