If you care about locally sourced, quality ingredients, this is a good bet. We arrived in town and went inside, because the place looked casual, cozy, and had a cool vibe. It's a seat-yourself place with good pub food that goes beyond the normal fare. The grass-fed, local burger was delicious. The scallops were cooked well (not overdone or rubbery).... More

We don't drink, but enjoy this restaurant anyway because of the good food. Also we have a 4 year old son and really appreciate the fact that they have a kid's play room. He loves it and asks to go often :)

The beers tend toward "regular" microbrew styles -- several IPAs, a hefe, a stout, a porter. (There sometimes is a sour but it was out the day I visited.) That "regular" focus is to be expected, though, in the only brewpub in a small pub. They have to try to please a general population. And they do! It's a lively... More

We ate at the Prodigal Son on the 2nd October a Sunday and the restaurant was packed. The beer selection was superb with both local and regional beers available. I had the ale battered fish and chips with a local IPA beer which was an excellent choice. The service was swift and friendly and this is very much a family... More

We all enjoyed our lunch here in Pendleton. My husband and I each tried the daily special pasta and sandwich. We both felt these were excellent choices. Also tried the onion rings which were very good. Recommend this place!

Casual atmosphere and quick service. The standard menu has a good variety and the daily specials and a daily pasta too adds variety. We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Plenty of seating along the front windows, cozy couches in the back and large tables for groups.

We were in the area for some golf, ventured into town and were delighted to discover this place. Great beer on tap, I had the Fatted Calf Oatmeal Stout Nitro, while relaxing in the comfortable room on the side of the bar watching football. Next we had Eat Cheese or Die! (cheese curds) which came with a spicy honey-sriracha sauce,... More

Amazing pub.. own beers and food specials. Place was jumping, full of families and couples on a Sunday night. I had Scotch egg with fries, himself had a loaded burger. Both to die for. No room for dessert!
