We had a 45 minutes stop in Parkdale while we were on the Mount Hood Railroad train. We decided to go here because my husband makes beer and likes to try others. Was very disappointed that they did not have a dark beer on hand....And the menu for snacks was limited. The price was pretty high for what we had.More
Nice place to visit, once or twice. 2 dollars for a 4 ounce tasting pour is a bit spendy. The food was good but lack of waitstaff with self serve - ordering at the bar- was weird. Good customer service and friendly people make a...big difference. Kind of felt like we were intruding where we didn’t belong. Just a smile, a welcome or a good bye goes a long way. Maybe they don’t depend on tourists?More
This place is a favorite of my brother's, who lives a few minutes away. The beer is cold and the Cuban sandwich tasted like it was made in the Keys where I have had some of the best Cubans to date. The view is spectacular...of the mountains and it is a great place to spend time with the locals. I will be back for another Cuban on my next visit.More
Great place! Awesome view of Mt. Hood. Wonderful beer, especially the ESB. Weather permitting, you should seat outside and enjoy the view. Had the hummus platter and chips/salsa. Both were really good. Well worth the drive!!!
We ate lunch here on a scenic tour around Mt Hood. We chose Parkdale because of a recommendation from our guidebook, but found that most restaurants do not open on a Monday in July. We were very happy with both the local beer, the food...quality and the service at the Solera Brewery, and would hope to return another time when the cloud is not shrouding the top of Mt Hood, as the view from the back is said to be great.More
We had a warm welcome on our 2 visits to this friendly pub and microbrewery. The beer, cider and food were very good - the Burrito Bowl was fabulous. And it has to have the best views of any microbrewery anywhere in the world!
