Danged - wish we could have eaten in - the scent of their smoking with apple wood is enough to drive a BBQ freak over the edge! But, we took our take-out up to our cabin at Lost Lake and had an absolutely delightful birthday...dinner.More

We have eaten here about ten times in the past two years. The bar-b-q is very nice though the menu is not large. The pulled pork is good. The ribs are very good. Their sauce is great and you can buy sauce to take home...or give to a friend. My wife loves their salads with some chicken over the top. Check their schedule as they are closed on some workdays and their hours can vary with the season.More

Awesome pulled pork plate with choice of two sides. I had the pear coleslaw and cider baked beans. Topped off with a bottle of Portland Cider Co., and I was in hog heaven. So much food I had enough for three extra small meals at...home! Eat inside or out, it’s all good here, don’t miss it if you’re doing the Fruit Loop as it’s smack dab at the halfway point out of Hood River.More

I primarily eat pork and I am very picky. It was truly like being at a pig roast, the food was amazing, portions phenomenal. I had enough left overs for two more meals. Loved it. A must stop on the way to Mt Hood.

We had the Baby Back Ribs and Pulled Pork with Baked Beans and Coleslaw. Meal was very good. I loved the sweet sauce and beans. The corn muffin was tiny and crumbly though good.

Road the train from hood river. It stopped in Parkdale to turn around. Was told about this place and we love bbq so had to check it out. Was not disappointed!! We had the ribs, pulled pork, baked beans and mac salad. Finger licking good!!!...Only disappointment was that they didn’t have any pies left. Will make this place a stop again!!More

I would give ZERO stars if I could. I contacted Apple valley BBQ on multiple occasions for catering food for a rehearsal dinner for my wedding. I even flew out to Parkdale to visit the restaurant, try the food and speak to the catering lady....She said to give her 30 days or so to place an order. She never got back to me at ALL! I called and she told me she was booked up for a fair. I should have known this place was shady and not to consider doing business with them. I will make sure to tell everyone I know not to do business with them or eat at their establishment. SCREW APPLE VALLEY BBQ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!More

Cute little sweet spot in a small town. Best pulled pork sandwiches around. We had the french fries to go with the sandwich and they were delicious! Went there with a very picky eater and she ate it all!! Wanted to go back for more...the next day. My guest liked it so much that she bought their BBQ sauce to take back home with her.More

This place was recommended to us by a local place when I asked for somewhere nearby for a good lunch. It was indeed good, and we had large portions. Neat quaint atmosphere, good service, and good prices. You might miss it if you aren't careful....We passed it the first time, turned around at the end of town and came back. Parking is limited on the street, but easily accessible the day we were there. Would go again if in the area!More

We had the ribs and the pulled pork sandwich. I had bake beans and the pear coleslaw for my side items. It’s busy but I was thankful to try the ribs. They ran out of ribs when we left the restaurant at about 3pm.
