First came here in 1972 as a college freshman (oops, really dating myself!). Chowder was really good then and still is, but back then saw Mo herself a couple of times at a nearby table. My favorite today continues to be the Brucewich (fresh shrimp...salad sandwich on their amazing bread)More

This restaurant was very disappointing. We ordered fish and chips it was so very overly greasy. Everything tasted the same. And over cooked. We also ordered clam chowder and our server told us to add salt and butter for better flavor before we even tasted...it.More

This past week friends that live in the area took me to eat there. OH MY!!!!! We started with the steamed clams.....best ever with the lemon butter they were floating in. Then we had the family tub of clam chowder. It was so thick I...think the ladle would have stood up on its own. Best!!!! We took the rest home. We then split the berry cobbler!!!! This was the best ending of the day on the coast. Loved the view of the boats coming in and the working docks. Thanks!!!!More

This location offers many yummy choices (just no fried options) but instead offers a more authentic feel of coast dining.

Love to eat at Mo's and watch the fishing boats come in. Fun place good food. Small and simple. Shrimp cocktail yummy. And of course the chowder, it's Mo's, that says it all

Stopped in to buy a family size clam chowder to go. The person at the front would not take my order until she had seated everyone coming into the lobby. Those who were there first should be seated first. Those who came in after me...should have to wait until my order was taken. People kept coming in and coming in and coming in. I gave up and walked across the street to the other Mo's. Don't waste your time going to this one if you want food to go!!More

This is our third trip to the beautiful coast of Newport and my husband always wanted to try this place. It was such a disappointment! I’m not sure how they’ve stayed around so long. At least he knows now. Much better places to dine.
