FIVE GUYS, Milwaukie

Been here several times previously and it was always good. Tonight, the B squad must have been called in. While waiting for our order we watched 3 others ahead of us have to bring their orders back due to getting it wrong. Then half our...order came, but the rest took another 10-15 minutes. And, lo and behold the second half of our order was wrong. After waiting that long we just gave up and ate what we were given. Very disappointing considering our previous positive experiences here. The managers might want to spend a little more time on training.More

Hard Working Staff & Fantastic Meal

This was our first time to this location. We've always liked 5 Guys, and this location didn't disappoint. When we arrived the night before Thanksgiving for our dinner, it was obvious that they had been busy. Regardless, our order was taken promptly. While we waited...for our food we became aware of other customers complaining about their wait times. Twenty to twenty five minutes?! There were only 3 young men and 1 young woman working. One of the crew members told me that 1/3 of their crew hadn't shown up for their shift! Yes, the wait was too long, but this small staff put their heart and soul into getting the orders out as quickly as they could. Unfortunately some other customers lost patience and demanded refunds and walked out. The young man who appeared to be the crew leader was extremely apologetic to the customers and was trying to do everything he could to get the job done. We stuck it out and were rewarded w great burgers and the biggest mound of hot, fresh fries we'd ever seen! The shakes we ordered were extremely good too. Because of their exceptional efforts we gave this small, dedicated crew the biggest tip I've ever given at a fast food restaurant. I hope the owner/manager of this location sees this review and also appropriately rewards this small, dedicated staff.More

Dependable and tasty

We've eaten at various locations probably 20 times. Always a good burger and a boat load of delicious fries. If you are wanting a gourmet burger, you will be disappointed. But if you are wanting a gigantic burger loaded with the toppings of your choice,...they deliver.More

Quality burger

Lots of different size burgers and you can custom order it with the items you like. It is not a fast food restaurant and if you are in a hurry, that won't happen. The burger is as good as any of the other top burger...places.More

Always excellent

Five Guys makes the best burger anywhere! Combine it with their Cajun fries and it doesn't get any better. Five Guys rocks!

Keto perfection

If your doing the keto thing then order 3 patties, 3 layers of bacon, and 3 slices of cheese on a bed of lettuce with no bun. The provide it in a small paper bowl and wrapping in their signature tin foil. The meal was...perfect although there may have been too many protein calories and not enough fat calories for a true keto meal. Still though....tasty. Free refills on water!!!More

Another good meal

Great hamburgers and fresh fries from Idaho!

My son and I were looking for a good, fast-food restaurant and I had never been to Five Guys. Well, I was surely surprised at what a great burger they served me, with all kinds of add-ons, like mushrooms, which I love. And all for...free (the add-ons that is). And I really loved the fresh, Idaho french fries. It's a really nice place to go for a good and quick meal.More

Really good fast food hamburgers

This was our first time at a Five Guys. Yes, I know they are a franchised 'chain', but so what? They are good! The place was sparkling clean with sort of 'retro' red & white decor. The counter clerks were friendly and efficient. You have...your choice of all kinds of 'stuff' to put on your burger at no extra charge. I got "little" bacon cheeseburger, which was not little at all. I added mushrooms for free. My husband had the regular cheeseburger, which was large. Price for the two was $12.70, so a little on the high side for a fast food place, but not excessive. We made a big mistake with the fries and ordered a large. Won't do that again! They were delicious, in fact far and away the BEST fast food fries we've ever had, but oh my the serving was *gigantic*! A small size would have been more than enough. The food was ready quickly and was piping hot and fresh. The burgers were very good. They say their meat is never frozen and that may be one reason the burgers were so good. Their fries are from potatoes grown specifically for fries. They also offer hot dogs and a couple of kinds of sandwiches, including a vegetarian sandwich that they make up, not a pre-formed 'veggie' patty. Good experience and I wish there was one closer to where we live!More
