If you want local-type Hawaiian food, this is the real deal. We’ve lived in HI twice for several years each time, we really appreciate HI food and they serve it here!

My husband and I went to the first friday event in Milwaukie oregon and we discovered Ohana and I looked at the menu and had to try the Kahlua Pig and it was the bomb. I also purchased the guava chiffon cake and that was...incredible. If you like hawaiian cooking this is the place to come. If you have never tried hawaiian bbq you should try this place. The people are very nice and treat you like your family.More

We were in the area so we decided to try this place. It's a nice little restaurant with very pleasant and attentive staff. I ordered the kalua pig and was very pleased with the food. There was a big pile of pork plus a scoop...of rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. The pork was a little on the salty side, but delicious anyway. My lunch friend had the macadamia nut crusted chicken breast (also served with rice and macaroni salad) and it was fantastic. Plenty of food for lunch plus a decent helping to bring home for dinner. We also ordered a dessert - coconut custard on a slice of fresh pineapple and topped with toasted coconut. Fantastic! We arrived early so parked right in front of the place. We'll be back! There was a cute note on the menu next to the Poi - if you have to ask what it is, you probably won't like it. Very true!More

I found this place after having a rough few weeks in my life. I myself am Filipino Hawaiian so was wanting some comfort food. We searched online and saw Ohana and decided to try it years ago. Ohana makes its dishes exactly like my great...grandma did and definitely is my comfort food. We started eating here in 2013, and haven’t stopped since. We ate here so often we know half the staff, and they know my husbands order since he eats the same thing. Every. Single. Time. I love the atmosphere and location right off Main st. I have never had a single complaint about this place, and it’s one of the staple restaurants I drag all my friends to.More

Hawaiian food is always a treat and we found this place to be a good option. The menu has lots of good options, especially some good combination plates. We wanted to try a variety of things so we ordered one with teriyaki beef, kalua pork,...and coconut prawns (one of my favorite things!) as well as a teriyaki chicken entre. The prawns were wonderful, and the beef was especially tasty. The pork was good but needed some teriyaki sauce so it wasn't dry. The chicken good, but I'm kinda used to having it cut up into smaller pieces so that the sauce permeates it a bit more. They brought us more sauce so that was all we needed. Even the macaroni salad was tasty -- different than most -- and there was more than enough for me to have for lunch the next day. We noticed that the whole place seemed to be run by young people -- and they seemed to be doing a good job. The music was traditional Hawaiian which we enjoyed. Some places you think should have music to go along with setting put on some screechy pop/rock music. But this was soothing and appropriate. It would be good to go again and try a few other items which looked interesting.More

Took a friend to dinner there and the food & service were delightful! We even had an added surprise of Hawaiian dancers to boot! Fun!

I have tried Ohana a couple times and both times have left me very unsatisfied. The last meal I tried was their kalua pork and it was so salty and drenched in what tasted like liquid smoke, it was actually uneatable. You would be so...much better off to go to Noho's or somewhere, anywhere else.More
