McMinnville has a lot of charm, but I find a little lacking when in the restaurant areas. This place hits the mark for breakfast for sure. Tucked away in little inside courtyard inside a building off 3rd St. is a place that will take you...More

Where to begin? Being from the East Coast, I'm partial to Pastrami Sandwiches. Morning Thunder puts their twist on it by adding a little bacon. What a great sandwich. And to top it off, home-made french fries! Yum!

Surrounded by pictures of Volkswagen buses and Grateful Dead memorabilia the Morning Thunder harkens back to a the best in small town dinning. Big portions, nothing pretentious, a great place to start the day.

Very cool hole in the wall diner serving breakfast and lunch. Very friendly staff. HUGE portions at very reasonable prices. Nothing earthshaking on this menu, just good home cooking. Costco coffee. You will NOT leave hungry (or broke).

We spent 11 days in the Pacific Northwest and Canada and this was our favorite breakfast stop. Fast and friendly service, amazing omelettes and just a huge/reasonable priced breakfast. If the thunder don't get you than the breakfast will.

We found a local place locally the serves edible chicken fried steak. Staff are friendly and helpful. The décor I describe as 'retro-funky' using pint jars as drinking glasses and vintage Volkswagen miniatures and posters for atmosphere. We will return soon
