Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unfortunately, this lovely bakery is poorly managed. No one picks up the phone, their mailbox is full. No online ordering as advertised in the morning and the lines are 15-20 minute waits to order. Hiring someone in the front to move the lines, clear the...mailbox and answer the phone in the mornings would increase their business. It's too frustrating to continue to stay a customer after many years.More

We were greeted when we arrived by the friendliest gal. I had done some perusing of the menu prior to our arrival and knew I wanted the quiche. My husband got a chocolate eclair and my nephew an almonds croissant. Everything was delicious. Thank goodness...we don’t live close or we would definitely frequent there often.More

Most disappointing carryout experience of my life. I spent $44 on six items carry-out. Wife picked it up without looking. Only two items in the bag. I call and am told by some guy to just come back and then he hung up on me....No sorry, no attempt to rectify the situation in a manner that works for me. It takes me 40 minutes to drive there and back. They can keep the extra $20 and the tip.More

Took a box of delectable baked goods over to a client on hospice. She is surrounded by family and used to serving others. She was delighted to be able to share the treats with all of her loved ones....all sampling a bite of each and...enjoying.More

Fresh ingredients and superb meal. Very well prepared and served at the right temperature. I had lunch at this restaurant and ordered the polenta with poached eggs with crumbled bacon on top, served with butter on top. The dish was fantastic and GF, it is...highly recommended. Service is great!More

This morning my husband and I stopped for a beverage and roll prior to 9:00 am. There were two indoor tables available both of which had crumbs, dried spilled beverage residue, and sticky jam. When I used two paper napkins to clean the tables actual...dirt was on the napkin. I gave two stars because we do like their beverages and pastries, however, I will not return to a place that does not ever clean. It is disappointing that a bakery downtown that should be a enjoyable experience has staff and management that do not take pride in the business.More

Love this location as it brings the environment and the food together for a mini vacation feel. My favorite is the Almond Croissant. My husband's is the Chocolate & Hazelnut Croissant and a bag of Chouquettes. I almost always bring treats home but make sure...you eat them within a day or two. Warm them in the oven to make them almost fresh baked again, Yum!More

During two stays in LO, we came here everyday for coffee and pastries. Staff is friendly and efficient. Pastries are outstanding and they feature many that are not often seen. It was a great start to our day.

My go to is the Jamon on baguette. But everything is super fresh and high quality. Beware, it does get quite crowded during the Saturday Farmer's Market season. I've also purchased lush desserts for dinner parties.

Suggested for ladies lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a busy place and standing in line to order to be expected. We chose soup and a shared sandwich, also a “le valentin” (strawberry pastry) for dessert. Had hoped to leave with “chouquettes” but...they were sold out. Will definitely return.More

I absolutely adore this place!!! It is THE BEST bakery ever---except for one place that used to serve made-from-scratch wild berry pancakes. Alas, that place is no more. But St. Honore Boulangerie in Lake Oswego IS!!!! YAY!!! We go here, at least two to three...times, whenever we come to see family who live nearby. My absolute fave is the Normandy Apple Toast, which is a baked tartlet with apple-slices on top of custard inside puff pastry. You'll roll your eyes back inside their sockets in ecstasy! A mug of hot coffee and cream go well with at least two of these delights, if you are having lunch. Skip the yummy salads and wonderful soups and healthy & delish sandwiches! Go for pure heavenly delight instead!!! The Normandy Apple Toast! My mouth is watering just writing about it!More

A friend and I met here for lunch and we both had their split pea soup with bacon. It was excellent especially with the bread that comes with it, but also with the extra roll I ordered that had a few pieces of bacon in...it also! The staff were great and the service was quick.More

Love St. Honoré for staying true to what they are. I wish there was more seating and the staff was a little faster, but it feels very French for those reasons. Great, fresh products and excellent coffee. Great part of town worth checking out.
