We ate here for Sunday brunch and breakfast on Monday. Even though this was not on the menu, they made my favorite: eggs Benedict with heirloom tomatoes and spinach each day. Sunday brunch offers the best scalloped potatoes we have ever eaten!

We are pleased that David enjoyed his stay with us. Regarding our pricing, it is worth noting that our meals include a salad, a choice of garlic mashed potatoes or rice pilaf, a fresh vegetable, and bread and butter. Many restaurants are ala carte whereby...More

Maureen, it's great to hear from a neighbor! I'm glad we've been able to treat you to some wonderful meals here. I apologize about your husband's Beef Bourguignon, though. As you know, our meat is usually tender and juicy, so this is surprising to hear....More

Top notch French dip in old school downstairs pub. $15 with house salad, delicious house carrots with hazelnuts, thick cut fries... please order this exact meal. Paired with a $5 pint of local beer on tap. What could you possibly complain about?

Description
Located in the center of Jacksonville, a historic town in Southern Oregon that got its start as part of the gold rush back in the 1850s, stands the Jacksonville Inn. It’s an elegant bed and breakfast housed in a building built in 18961 complete with walls made of locally quarried sandstone (specks of gold are still visible in the mortar). The historic hotel rooms blend distinctive 19th century décor with the necessities of a connected digital age, including a variety of modern comforts and amenities. Whether or not you are staying in the unforgettable rooms, you will love dining in the superb restaurant with its distinctive menu and impressive wine list featuring over 2,000 wines. The restaurant is known for its attention to detail and personal service and has a passion for building connections with its customers. The Jacksonville Inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It has served three U.S. presidents and has provided lodging for a U. S. president and First Lady.
