My husband and I recently went to Sunday Brunch at the Jacksonville Inn and had a wonderful experience. As always the food was excellent and the service was top notch! I would recommend this Brunch experience to anyone wanting to sit back and enjoy great...food. We also enjoy coming for dinner in the bistro area whenever we can. It is our perfect date night experience!More

Absolutely horrible. We were expecting so much more. The prices on the menu are top tier for this area so the expectations were high. Before I continue let me say The service was excellent and the staff was embarrassed. If you have any knowledge about...food and how it should be prepared stay away. The calamari was edible and was very ordinary. Nothing different than any bar would serve. The salads were basically the same wilted thing with a few pear slices or walnuts to differentiate them. The duck was absolutely terrible. Undercooked, overly salted and inedible...and returned. It pains me to write this as we are great supporters of our local restaurants ( and we have some excellent ones) but until the Jacksonville Inn takes its cuisine seriously and trains its chefs I would recommend our many other fine restaurants.More

We visited Jacksonville Inn for our anniversary celebration. Our experiences with this restaurant go back decades and they never disappoint. The staff, the ambiance, the entire experience lived up to every expectation, and more. During these tough times of COVID19 it was such a pleasure...to find an oasis of peace and calm. From the drinks to the dessert, everything was as we remember and cherish. For a Monday evening, the gorgeous patio was at capacity and the staff were so grateful for so many happy tables to serve.More

This review will not be fair as it reflects a Dinner with my wife on Valentines Day when they were swamped. The beautiful atmosphere made it a premier place to go on that all Important day. I will review them again on a more ordinary...dinner in the future. As mentioned it is surely one of the most beautiful Places in the Rogue Valley to go for dinner. The food is very good with a few glitches that I’ll attribute to the place being overwhelmed on this day. The service was good but I was struck how many servers were working under 20 years of age. They were doing the best they could but some training was in order. It is a pricey place to eat so the expectations should be high and a rating should reflect this. The crab cake was excellent and recommended. The salad that came with the dinner was shredded lettuce with no taste. Dressing did not help. Their signature Prime Rib was good but overly fatty and didn’t distinguish itself from many others. The salmon was very well Prepared . So it was a mixed bag. Hopefully they will earn that extra star another time.More

My wife and I went for a day before Valentines Day dinner. We both had a Chimichurri Flat Steak and I cannot say enough good things about it. It came with a twice baked potato and a salad all of which were wonderful. We had...the cheese cake for desert. I love the surroundings, just perfect for a romantic evening.More

Stayed in Jacksonville Inn after getting stranded because of snow storm. Last minute arrival; staff congenial, polite, totally caring of my distress with snow storm. Room offered was pristine; warm and welcoming. Fresh flowers in room; jet jacuzzi tub, Early dinner was in front of...fireplace in Bistro. Staff had impeccable manners. Food was great. Coffee and sweets with newspaper outside my door in the morning. Breakfast service was so lovely in the upstairs dining room. Again, Fresh Flowers on table. Gift yourself this stay. You deserve it.More

Thank you for the kind words. We have been serving the lentil soup since we opened the Jacksonville Inn 43 years ago, and we have been serving the Salmon flat bread for over a decade. We are blessed with an excellent wait staff.

Dined downstairs. There was formal seating as you walked in and bistro and bar seating in the back. We opted for the latter. Reminded me of supper clubs in the 60's and 70's. Interesting menu with a European flair. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Beef Bourguinon...was delicious. Bartender was excellent.More
