But I hate the stuff. My hubby loves it though but I love that non seafood offerings are available, beautifully presented and yummy.

Nice atmosphere and quick, pleasant service. Reasonably priced and the quality of the food that we ate ranged from fair to good.

I visited this place twice during the one week. All sushi and Japanese food lovers should visit this place. Definitely you will find something to order from the great choice menu and you can go there the second time to order the rest or to repeat what is the best for you. If you are not so familiar with Japanese... More

We were a party of 8 adults, arriving at 5pm to start with happy hour. The waiter was totally inept, had to ask for happy hour menus, he got drinks wrong, made a total mess of the check (added the required 18% tip in twice). Virtually had to request info on everything, he offered no assistance without prodding. The most... More

Always feel transported to Japan when I go. Favorite for sushi and great appetizers and meals. Spendy but worth it. Extensive menu worth looking through thoroughly. Sushi excellent. Weekends make a reservation unless you enjoy standing in line.

The top Sushi place in Oregon (yes better than spots in Portland) is located in old downtown Hillsboro. Extremely fresh Sushi of the highest quality combines with Japanese staff to make this a gem spot. I'm almost afraid to write this review and expose the place to the wold- but they deserve it.

Love this place - it's the antithesis of chain restaurant food. Wonderfully snuggled into the lower floor of a repurposed old Carnegie Library building, the decor is warm, appealing and unique. I don't know enough about Japanese food to discuss the full menu but they have a wide variety - sushi, noodle dishes, salads, stir fry, etc. Everything is well... More

We have no idea what to think, we walked in with at the front of a line at opening and watched as everyone got served and orders taken and we sat with our menus until we walked out. Smelled good...

We actually had headed to Sushi and Maki, but they were closed, so decided to try Syun again. The menu is fairly massive, but we finally decided on 3 sushi plates to start. (there were 5 of us) We ended up ordering 2 additional plates. The bill was $150.00 with tip and there were 6 alcoholic drinks ordered. We tried... More

Beautiful city with a perfect little Japanese jewel. This place was a little difficult to find, as it is located inside some sort of a library building. And, it was a great find. After Japan, I was looking for some authentic Japanese food which extends beyond sushi. Dont get me wrong, I love sushi but the country has a lot... More
