I just finished a cup of tea and a Fresh Berry Scone from Pacific Way Bakery and I’m in heaven. This is a quality scone. The berries were of course fresh and the scone was moist, had a velvety texture but not too sweet. We...had to taste something else so my husband and I split the Cowboy Cookie. The little sign indicated it was gluten g free so I was worried that we would have to throw it out after the first taste. Oh boy, was I wrong. This cookie was fantastic. Again, all fresh ingredients, including coconut, nuts, raisins and chocolate chips. Perfect texture and taste. This little gem of a place is worth waiting in line for. Covid safe.More

Wonderful local bakery! We couldn't decide so we purchased a nice variety of treats to share. Everyone in our family enjoyed them!

Get here early or you will be part of long line - but it moves quickly and it’s worth it. Yummy baked goods and sandwiches and lots more. The cafe was closed when we were here but will try again

Fantastic cream of mushroom soup followed by a Dungeness Crab Louis salad. Fresh bread from the bakery next door was a nice touch. Quaint ambience and friendly service. A very pleasant experience.

Stopped in for coffee and baked goods. Nothing extra special. Long line due to limitation of guests inside the bakery. High price point as it is really the only place in "downtown" Gearhart.

Once again I had an absolutely amazing meal at Pacific Way Cafe. I have been wanting to get in when they have scallops for quiet a while and I finally made it on the right evening. The scallops were so exceptional, flavorful, filling but not...overly rich. The clam chowder was hands down the BEST! The small Caesar salad was too large to finish but a joy to have brought home with me for lunch tomorrow. Everything is served with an appetizing presentation. I am fortunate to live in the Astoria area and to have such an outstanding restaurant just a few miles away.More

We only got to visit the bakery, so this review is only about that part of the business. The first day we got there right before they closed and they only had croissants left. Making lemonade out of (yummy) lemons, we bought a bunch, went...home and made delicious blt's. The next day we went back in the morning and bought pastries to share. They were all great, but we especially loved the pear danish (it had a touch of lemon and cinnamon) and the amazing maple glazed roll. I'm not a huge fan of maple, but it was delicious! Definitely worth a stop!More

We have visited Pacific Way for Breakfast in the bakery annex, for lunch, and for dinner many times. This was our first disappointing meal. No bread on the table or offers of water and coffee refills until I finally got up and asked, and no...salad with my husband's ravioli ($24 for six on a plate—that was it). We were with friends who seemed to enjoy their meal, but I think we will just come for the bakery or portobello sandwich for lunch and skip dinner in future. Oh! And be warned: very few vegetarian options (two salads and one entrée + pizza), NO vegan options.More

My spouse and I loved this place, not only they have amazing lunch options but they serve mimosas the best way we found thus far. They bring the brut and the orange juice and you mix them. It was perfect for us because I like...less alcohol while but spouse prefers more alcohol. I got the Oregon Dungeness Crab sandwich, with garlic pesto aioli, tomatoes, red onions & cheddar cheese, served open-faced & hot. I was not disappointed.More

I've eaten at the cafe for years; always great food and service. If I want to impress someone, I take them to the Pacific Way Cafe and Bakery. The bakery turns out world class pasteries. I like to stop and pick up a cinnamon roll...and take it home and warm it with butter on top-_sheer nivana.More
