Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice drinks and wine outside at the picnic tables. Very friendly service. The Sunday brunch was okay... nothing really special about it... kinda small portions.

Just for old time's sake, I went to visit the place my 'starter marriage' husband and I had our wedding reception back in 1979, and I was so excited that I could go in and have a cocktail there to sit and reminisce about those...old times. The food looked great and the bartender/s and staff were super friendly. We had booked a dinner reservation for the next night but one of our party tested ++ for Covid, which put a quick end to that fun outing. Give this place a try! I'd love to go back and try their Sunday Brunch too! Have a Bloody Mary for me, por favor!More

This group has managed to produce consistently good food and previously under very challenging conditions. I forgot to write a review over the summer in regards to their Wednesday fish for lunch and dinner. It was wonderful and always cooked to perfection no matter how...it was prepared. Kudos to this staff and the chef!! Keep up the good work. We DO notice... Your neighbor at the 4th tee!More

This pub has a great variety of consistently made delicious food. The service is excellent, as is the beer and wine list. Large enough to accommodate groups but open enough that you have your privacy. The view is awesome of the golf course and the...Spencer Butte. Whether you are just visiting Eugene or you live here, it’s worth a visit.More

Had lunch with a friend on Monday. A salad with a hard boiled egg on the side. While cutting the eggs to put on the salad the yolk ran out. This is not how a hard boiled salad egg should look. Calling the waiter made...the experience worse as the waiter argued that the egg was fine, just not what was expected. The waiter was rude and abrupt and not only did not make any adjustment to the bill but didn't even take away the runny eggs. A great view but we will never eat there again. Possibly will return for drinks or a gathering, but not for food.More

this is a funky and fun place..... a good place to bring kids as there is a kid oriented menu. for the adults there are great salads and sandwiches..... they would rate a five star is the deep fried items were a little lighter. you...can sit and watch people playing gold (or not) - with the course right there.....More

Weekend brunch at Laurelwood was casual with a lovely view of the green golf course. Dining is in the pub with lots of windows with views, TVs with the current sporting events & a great waitress. I normally don’t care for TVs in my eating...space but they were far enough away from me that I didn’t notice them much. The cooler was a bit loud though. We sat on the other side of the room & it was fine. The Veggie Eggs Benedict was delicious. Lots of homemade hollandaise sauce - yum. The breakfast potatos were the best. Well seasoned, soft inside, crisp outside. My boyfriend had the traditional Benedict & the ham was salty & a bit dry though he really enjoyed it. Our waitress was attentive & accommodating & the food came out quickly. We would go back again for that rich lemony hollandaise sauce & ask for a bit extra. :)More

I am so impressed with this unimpressive place that I am anticipating multiple follow-up visits and reviews. What really ought to be a Denny's is actually an excellent restaurant. I've been there five times in the past two months, twice for breakfast/brunch, twice for lunch...and once late after a Duck basketball game. I really want to try some of the dinner entrees (e.g., flank steak, blackened chicken pasta, mac & cheese), which I predict will rival, if not exceed those at Chef's Kitchen. What I have sampled has been sublime: rusty pork sliders on incredible jalapeño cheese biscuits; the Belushi burger, a fantastic wild mushroom omelette, loaded potato wedges and lip-smacking' corned beef hash. None of these items could have been better. Who would have thought! After all, this "dive," and I use the term affectionately, exhausted its interior decorating budget in the mid-seventies. Who cares. Unless you are planning to propose to your partner, then The Pub is a solid choice for any non-occasion. An excellent view of the golf course is marred by the metal roof of the downstairs clubhouse, but again, who cares. Service is exceedingly friendly, helpful and efficient. My advice: Head for The Pub right away. Do not pass GO. Get there before everyone else discovers it.More

The Pub is one of those places that I'm hesitant to share cause it's so dang delish. Great food, super staff and a beautiful view. Had lots of items from the menu-- all tasty. They can run out of items but don't be blue --...just order something else!More

It was a beautiful, sunny autumn day and after a drive out in the countryside, we decided to stop at a restaurant we had heard about but never been to...The Pub at Laurelwood golf course. This was a mid-week visit & apparently golf leagues were...over or not playing that day, as there were only a few patrons in The Pub. Service was prompt, extremely pleasant, and helpful. While we waited for our drinks & lunch, the view out on the golf course was gorgeous and relaxing. I think there is outdoor seating when weather allows. We split a turkey/cheese panini sandwich (grilled to perfection) and an order of mac 'n cheese (sinfully creamy). We definitely want to return and highly recommend The Pub.More

The new management at the pub at Laurelwood Golf Course has managed to do a fine job of turning things around. They are creative and Innovative with what they have to work with and are constantly making improvements. They have managed to surpass previous attempts...to do this. With community and City support, they will continue to do so, providing the community & guests with a desirable restaurant & community golf course to enjoy a socializing over a great meal at one of the best locations in town.More

Went to The Pub for Tacos last night for Taco Tuesday. Just possibly the best soft tacos I've ever had. They are filled with chorizo, cabbage, cilantro and grated cheese. They have a good selection of beer and wine. They are pet friendly on the...lower level outside. You will have to walk up the stairs to get your food and drinks but well worth it. The view of the golf course is beautiful. The other menu items are very good as well. A wonderful find on our visit to Eugene.More
