one of the highlights of 5th St Market in Eugene, it is an outstanding restaurant that I enjoy taking friends and clients to for a great meal and conversation.

Excellent food and reasonably priced for the quality of the meal. While I've been going there for years, the last time the service was exceptionally slow. I'll not let that deter me from visiting in the future.

My wife and I have lunch or dinner at Marche a dozen times or more each year because the food is superb and the service is congenial. Marche is located in a group of upscale shops so it is central to great shopping, too!

Marche's location and reputation suggest that it should be a great place to dine. The owner has a reputation for having been an excellent chef, but the current restaurant does not honor her reputation. The cooking has consistently been klutzy, and it seems to have declined in quality during 2016. At one point, they had a man standing beside the... More

I do not feel extremely comfortable in a pretentious atmosphere; consequently, I did not thoroughly enjoy my two visits to this restaurant. Also, my meals (pizza during the first visit and the next time I ordered crab cakes) were not excellent. The overall experience at Marche left me dissatisfied.

Food and drink at a high level of quality. Inventive menu. Several entrees, including steaks were world-class. All the employees seemed committed to excellent service. Quick to take you order and serve it professionally at your table. Nice place to take someone you want to impress-even it's only yourself.

I love this meal! It keeps me going for a long time. It is served with fruit that is a wonder snack mid morning.

Can be somewhat snooty Over priced Small portions Likes itself a bit too much Needs o be more welcoming If your in search of an expensive outing with reasonably good food then it will meet your expectations. It is somewhat lower on my list of places to return to but since we were gifted a certificate we will go back... More

Very amazingly surprised by the quality of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fine attention to detail. Everything fresh, tasty, and well-executed. A gem worth the visit. Highly recommended.

I only get to Eugene for conferences and business. However, Marche is always my first choice for both entertaining and personal dining. Since my first visit seven years ago, it has only gotten bigger in space, better in taste and more sophisticated in its wine list. This time was a pull-out-the-stops serious date with my wife. And it was everything... More

Marche, located in Eugene, Oregon, opened in August 1998. The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a stylish bar and a large outdoor dining area, covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers. Marche takes its name from the French word for market – a word that describes our location in the bustling 5th street Market and more importantly, our philosophy of cooking. The menu is based on the foods one would find at a farmer’s market: fresh, seasonal, and regional. Marche is committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, so our menu evolves as we move through the seasons of the year. Marche also believes in using the highest quality and most healthful ingredients available and to that end use organic, free range, and chemical free products. The culinary technique is French-based: intensely flavored and simply but beautifully presented.
