Food and drink at a high level of quality. Inventive menu. Several entrees, including steaks were world-class. All the employees seemed committed to excellent service. Quick to take you order and serve it professionally at your table. Nice place to take someone you want to impress-even it's only yourself.

I love this meal! It keeps me going for a long time. It is served with fruit that is a wonder snack mid morning.

Can be somewhat snooty Over priced Small portions Likes itself a bit too much Needs o be more welcoming If your in search of an expensive outing with reasonably good food then it will meet your expectations. It is somewhat lower on my list of places to return to but since we were gifted a certificate we will go back... More

Very amazingly surprised by the quality of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Fine attention to detail. Everything fresh, tasty, and well-executed. A gem worth the visit. Highly recommended.

I only get to Eugene for conferences and business. However, Marche is always my first choice for both entertaining and personal dining. Since my first visit seven years ago, it has only gotten bigger in space, better in taste and more sophisticated in its wine list. This time was a pull-out-the-stops serious date with my wife. And it was everything... More

My husband likes this place but I don't. The menu is limited and boring. I like the atmosphere but it is noisy. The hostesses they pick are kind of snotty and could be more friendly. I would like it better if they would change up the menu every now and then.

Let me start by saying that the server/service/food was great! I went with a group of friends and we did ask for separate checks and being a server myself i know how frustrating that can be. My only critique would be that i wasn't feeling well and i quietly asked the server at the end of our meal if i... More

I've eaten here dozens of times over the years. It's one of the go to restaurants in the downtown area. Fresh local produce and food including Meats. It's expensive but it's worth it for a special treat

Will ask you if you have reservation at breakfast when restaurant is empty and happily pay you no mind. Eaten here over 20 times over the years and the snobbish boorish attitude has blossomed. Even with a reservation you will be sized up and treated according to their perceptions. Enjoy.

Our kids took us to Marche for my 70th birthday. Best cassoulet I have had outside of France. All the food was good.

Marche, located in Eugene, Oregon, opened in August 1998. The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a stylish bar and a large outdoor dining area, covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers. Marche takes its name from the French word for market – a word that describes our location in the bustling 5th street Market and more importantly, our philosophy of cooking. The menu is based on the foods one would find at a farmer’s market: fresh, seasonal, and regional. Marche is committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, so our menu evolves as we move through the seasons of the year. Marche also believes in using the highest quality and most healthful ingredients available and to that end use organic, free range, and chemical free products. The culinary technique is French-based: intensely flavored and simply but beautifully presented.
