The quality of food and wine were first class. The service however was disjointed. Our waiter was quite nice and knowledgeable but the timing and order of our dishes were poorly coordinated. For a restaurant to strive to be a high end establishment, the food...More

Have been twice recently for brunch. The first time, the food was served cold, the service was horrible and I was not convinced we would try it again. The second time, the service was better (not great...but better) and the food was tasty, well prepared...More

Went there to purchase a gift certificate and waited patiently for ten minutes for a rather flaky hostess to wait on me. When I took my rightful turn in line and requested a gift certificate I was told to wait until the customers behind me...More

We went here for Sunday brunch and were pretty disappointed. I had made a reservation with Open Table, we were seated at a very small table pushed up against a window. It was several minutes before we saw anyone, then finally someone came by with...More

Service and atmosphere is great...except if you're at a window on a cold evening. The waiter was loud and repetitive..."Good Choice." 'Sweetbreads' Does anyone know what they are and how to prepare them? Membrane not removed and deep-fried, raw? Lasagne...over-baked...burned on edges? Steak...spendy and tough!...More

First time here. Expensive? Semi. Worth it? Yes. A friend and I had brunch. The house coffee was delicious with the beignets we had ( only 3 little ones—probably wouldn’t order those again). My friend ordered the ham and cheese omelet—it was good. But I...More

Wine-$10.00/glass Salads-$10.00 Steaks-$34.00 $108.00 for two for dinner ($65+$43) Pretty spendy dinner for two not including tip-where's the soft music? Atmosphere was pleasant. Food was excellent. Service was good. I would venture to say the customer...More

If your going for dinner, make an early reservation as things get a little noisy, especially in the bar area, for the more mature crowd. Food and service were excellent. Try the squid spaghetti as the crab is wonderful as is the cod!

During the day yes, if you have a well behaved baby. Be courteous to other patrons. It's a little on the expensive side. I probably wouldn't take a baby at dinner bc if I'm paying that much I wouldn't want my baby with... More

Marche, located in Eugene, Oregon, opened in August 1998. The restaurant, which seats 80 guests, has an exhibition kitchen featuring a beautiful wood-fired oven. There is also a stylish bar and a large outdoor dining area, covered with awnings and umbrellas and surrounded by a garden of herbs and edible flowers. Marche takes its name from the French word for market – a word that describes our location in the bustling 5th street Market and more importantly, our philosophy of cooking. The menu is based on the foods one would find at a farmer’s market: fresh, seasonal, and regional. Marche is committed to using only those ingredients that are at their best, so our menu evolves as we move through the seasons of the year. Marche also believes in using the highest quality and most healthful ingredients available and to that end use organic, free range, and chemical free products. The culinary technique is French-based: intensely flavored and simply but beautifully presented.
