If you like beer you will love this place, there are 20+ beers on tap and coolers full of bottled beer, ranging from local micro breweries to imported.

The Beir Stein is a great place to hang out and chat, chew and drink beer. The 'flights' were a hit as you get to choose four tasters and maybe try something you might not otherwise drink...light to dark works great. And the food was a nice compliment to the beer.

Haven't been here since they moved from W 11th, and the food is still amazing. My daughter wanted beer cheese soup and I remembered how good theirs was. She ate the whole bowl, which she never does. The service was top of the line, from ordering to helping pick out the beer from the cooler. Sitting near (close enough to... More

Okay, perhaps my title is a little exaggerated, but I'll bet not by much. The selection is pretty astounding. The folks at the counter who are pouring the brews are always very helpful with selection. Also, if you want to try some beers to take out, there is usually a person available to help you with making your selections. On... More

Once again Trip Advisor pointed us to this place, and what an amazing find! We were on our way through Eugene, and it was lunchtime. They have real German beer on tap, as well as coolers and coolers of beers from around the world and lots of domestic microbrews. Their menu is excellent - whether you want a salad, appetizer,... There Bier Stein has a HUGE SELECTION of brews and we like to experiment with the locals, especially IPAs. The food is pretty good too but we go for the beer.

Recommended by a friend, we grabbed a few beers and ciders and had some appetizers before a concert. The fries are fresh cut shoestring fries perfectly cooked. Don't pass up the Bavarian Pretzel appetizer with a wonderful beer cheese dipping sauce. We had a few flights of beer and you can choose cider as well or mix and match. Great... More

You don't have to be a beer snob to enjoy this place. Very modern, open, impressive layout. Can order beer by the tap, bottle or can. Also doubles as a bottle shop with huge selection of beer lining an entire side of the place. Anything you can think of. You can buy and crack it open to have there or... More

No matter what kind of brew you tend to drink, this place has you covered! A girlfriend met up with my husband and I, we shared 2 delicious pitchers, amazing eats, and awesome atmosphere! Would love to go again. It's a classic downtown Eugene must for visitors.

Great selection of beers (but all pretty strong, so leave the car at home). Nice decor and atmosphere. Pub style food with some German influences - good but not great.
