My son raved about this place so we had to go before I went back to Las Vegas . We all had the Elk Burger , mine with Onion Rings and my son and his girlfriend had Tator Tots . They were good , but...my son said it was better the last time , so we will have to try again when I come back . Still not as good as the Buffalo Burgers I had in Montana , they were off the hook ! The bar is pretty cool with lots of wooden chairs and benches . They have a pool table and a like shuffle board game and both are free to play . It is a laid back bar and it also has a small gambling gaming area to the side . The lady that was the bartender / cook was pretty nice . Check it out .More
When ever we are heading to the coast now we stop and get the best Broasted Chicken I have ever had. and the price is also very good. People are friendly No hormones in chickens. Yea.. Stop by and check it out.
Very Clean and...Very nice inside.
Children are welcome and father could have a drink because I was driving.
We also played video poker while waiting for our lunch.
We had a very pleasant time with our meal.More
We'd been passing by this place for 18 years on our way to and from the south coast never realizing that behind the ordinary exterior was an extraordinary eatery.
Open the door and you're warmly greeted. The interior is filled with books to peruse, rose...themed items, homey and comfortable chairs and tables. Service is quick and the waitstaff is accommodating.
My husband loves gizzards, and this has become his "go to" place for gizzards. Me, I prefer, their delicious homemade soups and sandwiches. Trust me when I say that their Reuben sandwich is to die for - best I've had in many years!
So, don't be mislead by the building's ordinary exterior. Simply enter the Rose Garden Inn and you'll leave a very contented diner!More
We do not drink, but were invited to meet friends there. It is a good atmosphere with nice people. I used to live in Drain but left at age 18 so this was the first time I'd ever set foot in the Rose Garden.
This place is about 6 miles west of the I-5 freeway. We found it by accident a few years ago and try to stop by anytime we're nearby. Their soups and potato salad are homemade as are several other dishes they serve. Their chicken is...worth the wait!! They don't allow minors, which is something we appreciate...More
