The food was very dry and overlooked. Nice atmosphere, but wouldn't come back for food! We ordered breakfast and food was terribly overlooked (had to cut a breakfast with a knife) and bakery items displayed looked really dried out!

I spent 2-3 mornings a week drinking coffee and enjoying their baked goods. Common meeting place for locals in the morning. Background noise when full and ac running is difficult with hearing aides.

My husband and I are new "Grovers," as they say, and tried Backstage for breakfast ~2 weeks ago. Backstage Bakery is located in a very nondescript brick building with minimal signage; I would never have known it was there if we hadn't had Yelp (I posted this review there as well)(. The decor is simple (currently sporting a Halloween theme),... More

I've stopped here several times when in town, great service, quality real food. It is a little spendy, so I try to save it for special occasions.

We stopped by for breakfast on our way to some of the Oregon wineries for tasting. I had a bagel with cream cheese, tomato and red onion - really good. My husband enjoyed his breakfast as well. The place could use a little fixing up but the staff was friendly and the place does have character.

Incredible difference organic ingredients make. Plus charming building which 3 businesses share and ask about the town - so many interesting businesses and things to do. Plus sounds like Thursday's would be the day to visit - with all the local organic farmers coming in to their towns Farmers Market. 5 stars on this town!

Amazing food! Very casual atmosphere. Nice and courteous staff. Food is prepared with locally grown produce and the first organic coffee I've seen. It's attached to the Axe & Fiddle, but the entrance is around to the left near the tiled iguana bench. Yep, you heard that correctly. Prices are average, but the food was amazing.

Great lunch, friendly really nice atmosphere. Plenty to eat. A little difficult to find so be patient and don't be discouraged when you walk in. You will miss out on a real good meal.

A very good bakery, serves a good breakfast as well. We browse the bookstore after eating. Have attended a couple of community meetings here as well.

So very glad we found such a fantastic place for breakfast. Food was incredibly good. Love the bakery items as well and the thick slice of homemade wheat bread toast was perfect

Thank Susan P
