We love attending Luc during food week, or happy hour. The small bites are a great way to try several dishes without committing to just one large plate. Although I have yet to try anything bad here. If you go for dinner, plan a more generous budget than normal. Great for special occasions. Great cocktail list and wine lists. Fabulous... More

We were not fooled by the low lights and the appearance that the restaurant wasn't open on the Sunday night that we stopped. we started with the polenta fries, a small plate, but very tasty with a lemony sauce. for the main course, we had the cod and braised ribs. Both were beautifully presented and delicious flavors. A small place... More

At one time this was my favorite restaurant in Corvallis. Many months ago I wrote a very favorable review. Not this time. We had reservations for 6:45 PM. We arrived about 6:35 and were seated immediately. We then sat and waited over 15 minutes before anyone came to take an order for drinks. The restaurant was busy but not that... More

Luc's a small, charming restaurant with big flavors and full bar with wines that include very nice Spanish & Italian selections. Starters: Hush Puppies on a light, creamy Corn Sauce is delightful; Country Pate' w/Cherry Mustard & sharp little cornichons - wonderful & rich on baguettes; Beef Bourguignon: thin slices of beef on sliced baguette, pleasing but not a favorite.... The food is outstanding and the service is most caring. It is a quiet place, unless you are unlucky with a loud talker or laugher. From appetizers to desserts, even with as small as the weekly menu is, you will have a tough time deciding. You may want to save it for a special occasion, but if you can afford... More

It was not a good experience nor a good value. I made reservations 3 weeks ago, so they new a party of 6 was going to be there and we were almost the only ones all night. Dinner at 7, wanted the short ribs, but there was only one serving left. So we ordered the one serving and the rest... More

My husband and I came here in Jan 2016 and we were able to walk right in with no reservations. We were there visiting from California. Decor, service and food were all great. We were in the room towards the back and it was very romantic. I had a risotto and my husband had a fish dish and both were... More

If you are looking for an exceptional quiet, cozy and romantic place to dine, this is the place. Everything from the bar to dessert is exceptional. The chef lives to experiment and create dishes that you will never have anywhere else. He takes pride in what he creates. Locally sourced food. The service is wonderful. Be ready for a most... More

Menu is small so check it before you go as I had difficulty finding an entree I liked and ended up getting two appetizers. The cocktail list is extensive and evidently excellent. Ambiance is nice and people are friendly and cheerful. We loved the Duck Confit special and the ribs. Also the fennel sausage appetizer was good for a small... More

Went for the first time to LUC (no idea why it took us so long) for an Anniversary. They are striving to be more than just a 'special occasion' restaurant, and I'm anxious to return for Happy Hour (or soon to be available - "late night" hours from 9-11 pm). Dinner and wine were both divine. Kale caesar, wild mushroom... More
