Overnighting at near by RV park we decided we needed a treat. Ken's was recommended. Best milkshake we have had a in long time. Even in a Pandemic, a week day and late afternoon - people waiting for milk shakes. I bet it's busy in...the summer.More

Passing through the area and needed to make a lunch stop. Checked the TA reviews and Ken's was the place to go. Many meat options for your burger, but I just went with the standard beef offering. Very tasty and will be stopping by again...when travels thak me in that direction.More

While traveling south on I-5 I wanted ice cream. Pulled off at Canyonville, Exit 99, and found this little gem. They serve local Umpqua ice cream at a reasonable price. The outdoor seating was clean with adequate shade. I don't know what they do for...seating in the winter. The family next to us were eating burgers and fries with the delicious aroma haunting me all the way home. Next trip I'm going to try the fries. Easy on and off access to I-5.More

I visited Ken's Sidewalk Cafe while in Southern Oregon on a suprise visit to see my dad. Dad works in Canyonville and said he had been by before and it was really good so we drove over from Myrtle Creek. The menu is pretty extensive...and we quickly found things we wanted to order. Food was a little pricey for what they serve paying $30 for Onion rings, a chili dog, tea, and 6 Taquitos. The wait was not too bad considering how small the establishment is. The service though turned out to be the major concern. Our food came out and my Taquitos came out covered in sour cream and cheese which were not mentioned on the menu and I have a severe dairy intolerance. My dad went to the pick up window to request a box and some new Taquitos, which he explained he would be happy to pay for. He planned to eat the original order. The woman at the window ignored him as he tried to speak to her continuing to make a milkshake. He waited till she was done and asked again at which time she yelled at him very rudely to get away from the pick up window and get in the line at the order window. Dad attempted to again explain the situation and she returned to ignoring him. Dad was really upset. So I went up and asked to talk to the manager. The owner Ken came to speak with me and I explained what happened. He said his employee was very busy so it was ok. I even asked him to clarify that he meant yelling at customers was ok? He said it was as she was busy. I was very shocked and we decided to box up all our food and go home. The food was good. Best onion rings I've ever had, but honestly it wasn't worth the poor service. The fact they foster a work environment where being busy is a justification for being so unpleasant will ensure I don't return.More

We visited with 2 families. Food was delicious and didn’t take very long. The milkshakes were the best part! Sooooo yummy! Highly recommend you visit!

My wife and I each had the Jalepeno Burger with curly fries combo and a cookies n cream shake. The burger was to die for, but the fries were off the chart delicious. We were so full we could barely finish the shake, but it...was so good we had to finish it. Do yourself a favor and eat at Kens! We ate outside, but there is an inside eating area also. Service was quick and friendly.More

I always try something new and thia time it was tge reuben. High quality meat and bread with yummy crunchy caraway seeds. Their homemade chili is good too. Share something so you have room for ice cream!
