We stopped for a cup of coffee and picked up a chocolate chip cookie while we were there. It was raining pretty hard so we sat around and leisurely had our coffee and cookie until the rain let up. A great place to wait out the rain and everything tatted great, too.

This is the perfect place for coffee and a sweet bite in the morning. The staff are so very friendly. As another reviewer noted, expect to wait in line, but their service is efficient and worth the short wait. The buttermilk bars are absolutely perfect. Several choices of drip coffee, along with numerous specialty drinks as well. Can't wait to... More

Very small (quaint) and expect to wait in line when the doors open... and then enjoy! Every trip we make to Cannon Beach includes and least one morning at the Sleepy Monk, usually on the deck with our dogs, enjoying freshly baked pastries and terrific coffees.

Even though the lines were out the door, they had plenty of staff on hand to handle the rush. The fresh baked goodies were amazing but the coffee takes it all.

Very friendly owner. Lovely porch to sit on and enjoy a cup of coffee or other coffee specialty drink. Arrived right when they opened and the scones were still warm.....and delicious!

We stopped in there on Memorial Day morning. The line was out the door waiting to place our order. The line took about 15 minutes to get up there, then we were told there would be another 15 minutes or so before we got our drinks. I tried one of their specialty drinks on the menu --(I don't remember the... More

Coffee on our departing Sunday, rainy Sunday, from Cannon Beach. Own blends in a rustic setting, that caters to the coffee snobs of Seattle (that is us), trendy and tasty. Desserts look incredible!

I love this place, it smells good, tastes good and has a wonderful atmosphere. The service is warm and authentic. The pastries look tempting and taste even better. Coffee is one of the best and roasted on site. Definitely a rare find!

A group of us just had the opportunity to spend several days in Cannon Beach. One morning we walked to Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters. We were told to get there early as a line tends to form. We were the first to arrive at 7:30 but there are seats outside with heaters so we didn't mind the wait. Right at... More
