Stopped in for lunch and pints while wandering through downtown Bend with a group of 8 on a Saturday. The food was fabulous. Seriously. The draft craft beer selection was somewhat limited for Bend (one IPA, no Porter or Stout). But everyone found something they liked. The service was friendly and prompt.

Barrio is a regular spot for me, especially at happy hour (which seems to be what used to be called the 'early bird'). The paella is great and I have enjoyed everything that I have tried there.

Ordered baradillo for lunch and it was best quesadilla ever. Amazing flavors. Also went for dinner and mussels and tacos are divine. Chocolate pave - for desert a must try,

We walked in not knowing anything about the restaurant. We were seated immediately and all the staff and our waitress were pleasant and friendly. We were surprised by the creativity of the menu and were even more surprised by the taste of the food. From the grilled green beans to the tacos and vegetarian paella, we were happy, satisfied and... We were there at Happy Hour and enjoyed their specialty margaritas and had the Fundida with chips and tacos from the Happy Hour menu. The prickly pear margarita (not on the Happy Hour menu) was delicious!

We ate a late lunch here. My husband had the Cuban pork sandwich and I had Chicken linga tacos. We were both impressed with our meals. My tacos were perfect. Little corn tortillas, tender chicken and tasty seasoning with a hint of cilantro. The outdoor seating area was open but we sat at a comfortable booth indoors. We're in our... More

Lackluster service from our waiter - who made us wait for 20 mins before 'NOTICING' us, came over without even a hello to greet us and took our order and left. Oh but he was super quick with giving us the check after our 2nd last dish and checked in many times to see if we have paid. Food was... More

Why is this place so popular? Well, it does have a great buzz and the ambiance is nice and energetic. Staff works very hard to keep customers happy and the kitchen just keeps cranking it out. Why the poor rating? The food is inedible. Seriously. Four adults went in on a recent Thursday night and the place was hopping. We... More

Please don't order individual entrees here. This food is made for sharing! Great drinks. Waited for a table for 6 but wait faster than the estimate. Veggie tapas were terrific. I had to hide how much I liked the Brussels sprouts from my wife. Lively loud atmosphere. Would definitely go back- especially with a group

Visited during their busiest time of year. After waiting to be seated we were treated to amazing choices, flavors and enthusiastic service. The food was wonderful, different and well worth the hour wait.
