Exceptional friendly service. Barista was singing Queen as they made my "Killer Bee" Enjoyed in the backyard along the mighty Deschutes river. A great start to a busy Saturday.

Nice little place for coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. The people working there were very nice and it was clean with outdoor seating. It's a little hard to find but worth it.

I moved here in June, checked out several coffee shops and kept finding myself going back to The Looney Bean. 1. Because the coffee tastes the best, hands down! 2. The staff is friendly, (they know my name now) and always happy. 3. The atmosphere is amazing, in the summer the backyard along the Deschutes is second to none. HIGHLY... More

We were told of the Looney Bean on our Visit Bend walking Tour and she was so right about the coffee and the views being so good. We went in to purchase a bag of coffee to take home with us and received a free 8 oz. drip with that which is a nice perk! We took our coffee outside... More

It is always nice when the coffee is great (which it was) - but it is a bonus when the wait staff is friendly, they have a gluten free breakfast sandwich - AND - a beautiful view of the lake from the backyard of this little gem. I believe this establishment was a house, converted into a coffee shop, and... More

With fantastic pastery. The ham/cheese croissants is fantastic - and the coffee drinks (cold blends) are innovative - go for it :-)

Whenever we are in Bend we make sure to stop off at Looneys! Their coffee and pastries are great but what makes it even more enjoyable is their outside area. You can sit by the river in their garden on adirondack chairs and enjoy the lovely surroundings. We always make a point to go to Looney Bean Coffee

The backyard would be enough reason to visit. Big with a view of river and lots of space for kids. Coffee is great! Especially the chai latte and the killer bee (with cayenne!)

Great coffee and pastries. I come for the Killer Bee, which can get iced as well. A smooth blend with honey, cinnamon and cayenne in a way I haven't been able replicate. Relax in Adirondack on lawn on the Deschutes.

We sat out back with the river view. Gorgeous. Kids have fun there too. Drake park is so beautiful. And lots of places for kids to ride bikes and us Grammies to walk
