I'm not a big lover of BBQ but this place was good. Chicken had good flavor and the sides were good as well. The only suggestion I'd have for them would be to give some direction to new comers. We walked in while the person working was on the phone. We didn't get acknowledged right away and had no idea... More

The ribs fell off the bones! And the rub was perfect, savory and sweet. Their sauces were just the right amount of spice. The collard greens were cooked perfect, just a little crunch left, not soft and over cooked.

Had a two meat plate, brisket and ribs. Ribs were great. Had kind of a caramelized brown sugar on the outside. Their sauce is top notch. I usually like spicy, but I liked the mild better. Brisket was average in my opinion. For the sides, get the cabbage! The best I have ever had. Boiled cabbage with bacon and a... More

It's been a while since I had the opportunity to go to Big Anthony's. Today I made the trip and took the family. I had talked the place up to them, but it still exceeded all of their expectations. Anthony came out to visit with everyone and make sure we were pleased with everything. Great place...great guy!

Big Anthony was a fierce competitor on the court, and he's brought that same competitive spirit to his BBQ restaurant. He aims to be the best - and I always respect a business owner who is happy to pitch in and do what needs to be done whether it's cooking food, serving food or clearing tables. We thoroughly enjoyed the... More

Had read some good reviews, so went in high hopes...things started out good, corn muffins on the table, sweet tea, what more could you ask for (really wanted some butter)... We ordered ribs, chopped brisket sandwich, potato salad, beans, mac & cheese... Food showed up promptly, looked decent enough...then the let down Ribs--- it's a matter of personal taste regarding... I know bbq... I had the ribs, they were moist, good smoke ring, good texture, great flavor. These are the caliber of ribs where it would be an insult to put sauce on them. Anthony's dry rub provided a slightly sweet and spicy flavor, along with just the right level of smoke. Service was fast and very friendly. Big Anthony... More

I was in town for a couple days. Wanted to eat some good BBQ so I turned to Google. Found Big Anthonys and thought I would give it a try. The location seemed a little sketchy cause it was in a strip mall looking location. But WOW was I pleased with the food and service! It was delicious! The brisket... More
