I'm glad I stopped for lunch at this historic cafe. Service was great, my sandwich was yummy, and the coconut cream pie was fabulous.

If you are ever in the area anywhere near Perry, OK, and want to experience a great downtown diner - servers, food, decor, history - this is the place! We went for breakfast and we will definitely be going back!!!! Looking forward to going for lunch or dinner. Especially can't wait to try the homemade pies!!!!!

I was traveling I-35 and decided to have lunch in Perry, OK. This fun looking diner popped up, and I made the detour. I am so glad I did. The restaurant is in the middle of the town, which is clean and nice looking. At first glance, the restaurant looks like a movie theater with the colored lights, vertical rise... More

This place has consistently been rated very high by those who have eaten there. The chicken fried steak is one of the best and the homemade pies are wonderful. It is definitely a "destination dining" establishment. Advertised as the oldest family owned dining place in the State of Oklahoma! Nothing fancy, just great food, huge portions at fair prices". This place put me in mind of a cafe you would see in Mayberry. I just love old diners. The service was excellent. The food was brought to us quickly. It is a very clean place. So interesting to watch the locals. And the history on the walls is fun in itself. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak with... More

How many good restaurant choices do you have traveling southbound down I-35 across Oklahoma. (Wichita, KS to OKC) That's right pardner, fast foods or same old chain stains. Well stop looking and start driving. Perry, Okla. is about half way between the Kansas Line and north Okla. City. The Kumback Cafe is on the north side of court house square.... More

Have been working around Perry for 3 years and this is my go to lunch spot. Great food, great staff, a little overpriced for what it is but for a small town and good food, they can name the price. Would recommend to anyone.

I had the meatloaf and LOVED it. My wife had the biggest club sandwich I have ever seen. The service was great. Unfortunately I did not have room for any desert. Mabe next time.

Restaurant has been in same spot without closing for 90 years and that in itself says something! Didn't even close during the depression...amazing! A fun friendly spot to stop at. I had chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes and they were delish! Very laid back, jeans are perfect!
