OKC has many big city distractions nowadays. Yet, it holds true to her hometown roots. OK has had a sizable Czech and German population since around the Landrun days. Many traditional recipes have been passed down and lucky for us their kitchens, bakeries, and restaurants survived the hyper urban development of the 90s and 00s. This place is the real... More

I haven't had German/European food like this since I left Chicago. The atmosphere is very casual as you seat yourself, order at the counter, and they bring the food to you. Very authentic. This is also a bakery with a plethora of baked goods from breads to pastries and cookies. If you can't find the dessert of your choice you... More

Superb quality! Buffet breakfast was hot and delicious! Items ordered off the menu were a tasty combination of flavors. The staff was super-friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return and try something else!

Great, low key place to eat with a wide variety of sandwiches as well as traditional German meals. Be sure to leave room for dessert - cookies, cakes, pies, and pastries. Apparently, there is full service in the bar area but you order at the counter in the diner area. One note - the "German chocolate cake" was a bit... More

I went back to try the German Fare. I stand by my last review. The meat was dry. Gravy was in short supply. Potatoes were good. Cabbage fair. It doesn't taste made to order. I doubt I go back.

Sorry that you didn't enjoy the food, Daniel. We want everyone to receive a five-star meal when they come here -- that means the meat should've been much more tender. Hope that you give us another shot to prove ourselves in the future. Best, Jason, Operations Manager More

This was a wonderful family place to gather and celebrate a family birthday. The food was amazing and such a wide selection. We will go again.

We were traveling to Wichita, KS and planned on spending a night in an RV park in Oklahoma City. My wife looked on line for some cool places to eat. She learned about Ingrid's Kitchen from the Food Channel and Guy's visit there. It's not a real fancy place, but, it's the right place for some of the best German... More

Holy cow, what a place. Authentic German food at its finest. This unassuming building will have you wondering if you made the right choice. That question is quickly squashed as soon as you take your first bite. I had the weiner schnitzel with German potato salad, red cabbage, and sauerkraut. Unbelievable! Don't forget to visit the bakery for some delightful... More

Read about this on Diners, drive ins and dives thought we should try it. About 13min drive from OKC downtown but worth the trip. Food was great and portion size was large. The restaurant also has a full bakery which we didn't try but looked yummy! Seating was family style. You order at the counter and they call your name... More
