The staff is very familiar with constraints on their lunch crowd. They quickly get you seated, and begin their speedy service. The chicken-fried steak is their specialty, and it doesn't disappoint. Portions are appropriate for lunch and everything is freshly prepared (no 'recycled' tasting items). The place is cozy but comfortable, and staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Though not extraordinary, the food is good and the atmosphere fun. The Fry House has been feeding travelers for many years so there's history to soak up and interesting things to look at inside and out.

Great home cooking! The kids love to look at all the memorabilia as well! The staff is very friendly and very good with kids! The only thing I hate is that they don't take check cards.... Great Food for the Money though!

Would not recommend their chicken. Very interesting place and worth the trip just to see the memorabilia. Chicken was fried too long. If you want good chicken go to Cann's.

I ordered the chicken fried chicken and my hubby had a patty melt, both were OK, but nothing amazing. While the nostalgic items are historic, so is the carpet. This place could definitely use some renovations and sprucing up. On the bright side, the staff was wonderful and went out of their way to make sure our young kids enjoyed... More

As you are traveling through Bethany, Oklahoma enjoy the shops and great memorabilia of RT 66!! Then about 2 blocks east of Bethany is Ann's Chicken Fry on the south side of the hwy. Pink Caddy sitting out front.... More

This restaurant is the real thing. Excellent down home Southern Cooking, reminiscent of a bygone era. There's a pink old car in front, an old police car, and inside the best chicken fried steak. Warning: doesn't take debit cards.

We went here because I figured a restaurant named Anne's Chicken Fry House would have fabulous fried chicken. And it does have good chicken; however, they only serve fried chicken on Fridays and Saturdays. I was so disappointed the waitress did her magic and got the cook to fry up the grilled chicken special. It came with mashed potatoes, a... More

Route 66 can offer you some contrived nostalgia and bogus retro, but this place is the real thing. Ann's will take you on a 'time travel' experience and you will eat very well on your journey. Friendly service is a plus.
