As a whiskey/bourbon lover, I have been meaning to get down to Trapper's, as I heard they had a decent selection of the spirit. However, the south city location is not convenient for me and the opportunity just had not presented itself for a visit....More

Came in and had the Prime Rib. It is always good. Decided to have an appetizer of the blackened gator and really liked that too. Family with me were fascinated with the fishing/trapping/camping decorations. Fun place to visit and enjoy a really good meal.

The interior decor reminds one of a first class hunting lodge restaurant. There is quite a variety of meats (including crawfish, alligator, and quail, etc.). Louisianna & Oklahoma cooking styles. David was our waiter and very helpful as we went about deciding what to try....More

I am not a daring diner so I ordered the roasted chicken with grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. I cannot express enough how delicious this was. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Service was excellent and will plan on a return trip.

This place has great atmosphere with large displays. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu. The food was okay, I was not blown away. A bit pricey. No alcohol drinks, soup and 3 appetizers was about $45.00.

Trappers offers a truly unique backwoods fishing lodge atmosphere. It is located in the Reno/Meridian Hotel-Airport corridor, near the Fairgrounds. Trappers has been the "Horsemen's and Horsewomen's Headquarters" for over a decade. A 12 ft. Tall Kodiak bear greets customers as they enter the dining room filled with game trophies, authentic Indian canoes, and a live alligator tank. Favorites, along with signature mesquite grilled seafood dishes, are the blackened prime rib, mesquite grilled steaks, quail, and prime pork chops.
