I heard about this place on the food network. We love pretty close so I tried it out and wow!! Best fried chicken you will ever have! Warning no credit cards cash and check only but so worth it!

No plates, no silverware, no tablecloths, just paper squares as plates and a cardboard boat for your chicken. $14 for a whole chicken may seem expensive, but once you bite into it, you'll see why people keep coming back. It can get busy with waits over an hour for a chicken, but have a beer or two while you wait.... More

Drove 30mins to eat at Oklahomas oldest bar. No frills dinner... eating on paper placemats with your fingers!!! Fried okra also good. Friendly staff!

Eischen's used to be a regular stop on Friday nights after a highschool football game, but alas, I moved off to Texas and hadn't been in over eleven years. On my way to see my sister, stopped by to get some fried chicken and okra to go. Just as good as I remembered. I knew that they had a fire... More

I've had my fair share of fried chicken in life but, if I'm in the neighborhood or somewhere close, I will find a way to get to this place because their chicken ranks All Time Tops in my book!

worth the hour drive, their special breading makes this fried chicken amazing. The homemade chilli makes for an amazing nacho chilli or chili frito pie.

I dont get to eat here enough. It's about a 70 minute drive from where I live but stop by every time I can. The chicken is always hot, tasty and juicy. Okra crispy and beer cold! Service is always great. Best part, I can feed my family for under $50 including 20% tip.

So, This little place in Okarche, OK is about 33 miles from downtown OKC on Oklahoma Route 3. The little town is surrounded by a wind farm that makes the drive to and from. OKC enjoyable in itself. The wind just never stops blowing. We arrived just before the nooon time rush on a Monday morning. A couple of the... More

For 30 years we have gone to or picked up chicken to take home. Ranks up there with the best Fried Chicken around and the onions pickles and white bread just make it better. Okra and nachos are perfect side orders and the cold beer can't be beat.
