Loved this place. It was so nice that we went twice. The meat fell off the bones for the ribs and the brisket was amazing. Located off campus so we had easy access. Great staff and will be back

I discovered Rudy's in TX a few years ago, and was excited when they came to Norman. Have been there about 10x now, but never really that impressed with the food or the prices. I'm about to conclude that it's overrated--esp. compared to Van's and other local places.

Rudy's has the best BBQ in Norman. Yep, I said it. The ribs, brisket etc. are cooked to perfection. Service and parking are a dream. Rudy's can accommodate large crowds as easily as they handle a small group. Unfortunately, it is on Highway 9, that has too many entrance points (stop lights), silly speed limits, and plenty of police to... More

I'm from Texas so it's hard to impress me with BBQ but this place is good, as are the baked potatoes. Just as good is the fresh iced tea and the large dining area. Thumbs up from a BBQ -lover. Also, my kids, who live here, swear by the breakfast menu. They highly recommend the breakfast tacos.

I had the Pork Ribs, 1/2 Sausage & Corn On The Cob. Sausage was pretty good, but the ribs just didn't do it for me. I thought they were less tender than I prefer and didn't have enough smoke flavor. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. I'd probably go back, but wouldn't get the ribs.

We visited the Colorado Springs location a year and a half ago and fell in love - we knew we'd NEED to stop on our way back to Kansas from Texas. The Norman location was every bit as good as our first visit in Colorado! The Cream Corn is a game changer people. I get the medium container and nearly... More

Consistent juicy brisket always available. We take our little one there just for cream corn. Our designated eating spot for out of town guests that can handle big crowd and good place to hang out for hours:-)

We wanted some barbecue for lunch as we traveled through to Nebraska. The restaurant isn't far off highway 35, just two miles. The restaurant staff was friendly, and the dinning room was clean. The brisket and pork were both moist and had great flavor. The potato salad and beans were also very good. We love Rudy's barbecue sauce. Overall a... More

Very good BBQ. Just plain smoked! A little pricey, but it's BBQ. Ribs are tender, sandwiches are piled high with your choice of meat. And their potatoes are fantastic.

This is the place! If you want a moist brisket this is it. I usually get the brisket so I can only speak of it, its so good I drive from Missouri to eat here.
