Driving around and asked people on the street where would be a good place to eat. We were told Aelita's was very good. We thought the food was excellent and the service even better. We left there with thoughts of bringing friends with us the next time.

I have given this restaurant several chances. Our office crew has gone here several times for lunch and every single time I have ate here I get sick. Restaurant isn't very clean, I have seen roaches a couple visits. Service isn't the greatest but they stay busy I'm guessing because the prices are pretty reasonable.

We had very good service but I probably won't go back. The food was average and the salsa was the consistency of ketchup. Most of our food looked like it came from a can.

Visiting McAlester from out of town we picked Adelita's from a list on line. We enjoyed our lunch. Food was just what we ordered. Was a lovely lunch.

Traveling through & stopped for a midweek lunch. Place was busy but we were promptly greeted & seated. Server was friendly & service was quick. Salsa was not fresh - tasted like the kind from a jar. The tortillas that came with our fajitas also tasted like the prepackaged kind. They had been left on the grill a little too... More

We've eaten at many hole-in-the-walls in Oklahoma and beyond. Adelita's is, in the words of my son (our chips and salsa connoisseur), "average" - not bad but not really very good either. Overall, the food was fine. The chile verde was the standout in the bunch. The table salsa was thick and had a ketchupy taste. The service was very... More

This restaurant offers a decent taste of real Mexican Food but it's just not quite good enough. Very American style to the food so it loses that special feeling of authentic quisine. Good prices and nice portions. I'm from south Texas so I expect better but I'm use to more authentic Mexican Food. Nice effort though.

Stopped on a road trip and didn't want fast food - ended up here and prices were great, staff was friendly and attentive, food served quickly, and the Chicken Soup was really amazing.

The food is average at best. The chicken fajitas were extremely oily and marginally seasoned. The salsa tasted like it was from a jar. I guess after living in Texas for a number of years, you expect every Mexican place to have fresh tortillas, salsa and chips. The restaurant did remind me of a place I ate at while visiting... More
