Great burgers and shakes. Just great food all the way around! Can’t be in a hurry. Very popular and busy daily. Best chocolate shake I have ever had!

I waited 30 minutes to pick up lunch that I had called in and ordered ahead. The young lady was very rude. They were busy, and she probably was stressed, but this business needs to teach better customer service. The food was good.
I spent my high school years in a very small Oklahoma town that had a couple of drive-in burger places that had some of the best burgers, fries and shakes. I pass through Fairland, Oklahoma about once a month and had noticed that any tine...I pass by and it is open, it is packed! I decided that if for no other reason than the sake of nostalgia, I was going to stop the next time I passed through. I arrived right at noon on Monday, July 8th. I had to drive around the block 3 or 4 times waiting for someone to leave so I could have their parking space. I went inside. There is limited seating inside -- maybe 6 or 8 tables and a long counter with maybe a dozen stools. And it was standing room only! I knew I would most likely never even make my way up to the register to order. So I went outside to the window and waited to place my to-go order. I waited about 10 minutes before someone took my order. It appeared that there were maybe only 2 people working (a mother/daughter duo, maybe?) and they were struggling to keep up with all the customers. So I stayed and patiently waited. While waiting I looked at the menu. They have so many options, from burgers, fries, rings, to steak sandwiches and fried okra. They also have a large variety of shakes, sundaes and cones. I ordered a 1/3 pound hamburger, an order of "SuzyQs" (curly fries) and an order of onion rings. After another wait of about 15 minutes, my food order was ready. The food is very reasonably priced. My burger, fries and rings were under $8 total. I sat in my car and ate. OMG! The food was very good. I was impressed and ate every bite! So the next time I was in the area, I made plans to stop again. I did -- around noon on Friday, August 2nd. Was very disappointed to find the place deserted, even though according to their posted hours sign, they should have been open. I hope they haven't gone out of business. I would like to eat there again, and maybe try a shake or some ice cream, too.More
This place has been in our town since the beginning of time! It has passed first through our family for 2 generations and then bought from some nice people. The standards have been maintained and the food is great if you are looking for a...classic old fashioned cheeseburger (The Boyer Burger) and the trimmings. There is also soft serve ice cream and great milkshakes.More
Hadn't been to this location for about six years so decided to stop by for burgers to go. Not much seating on the inside but there were no empty tables when we stopped by to order to go. A lot of kids hang out at...this location. When we got home with the food, the burgers were pretty greasy. Not that good at all. I suppose it will be another six years before we go here again.More
We drive 1.5 hours once a month to get these amazing milk shakes!!!! Beats the socks off Sonic or Braums... in our opinion!! Great steak sandwiches. The wait staff is always friendly and attentive. This place is always packed..... with good reason.
If you want a burger, fries and a drink for 4.25 this is the place. not to mention .25 cent refills and the best soft serve icecream around. Worth the drive if you are not close. Tiny little place that is always hopping. Still they...get your food to the table quick. OH and the corn nuggets rock!More
We've eaten here a few times over the years & even though the newer owners aren't as good at service, they are defiantly good on the food. We've had burgers, tots, onion rings, curly fries, Frito chili pie, & cherry lime aides. They were all...good. It is such a good place to eat that last weekend they were so busy we waited 40 mins for our lunch. The week before it was only 10 mins but, this week there were a lot of people. I saw a lot of people picking up orders, next time we might call it in. It's a nice clean old time place to eat with good food. There aren't too many of these places left. Worth going out of your way for.More
We love the food but the service is slow.we went to eat there and the girl working served others before us while we had been waiting. But we do love the food. Especially the boyer burger and the chili cheese fries.
While passing through Fairland, Oklahoma don't forget to stop at the Dairy Shack for a delicious old fashioned milk shake. They're made right in front of you with real milk and a real bargain. They also have excellent prices on their ice cream cones. I...didn't try the food so you'll have to get someone else's opinion on that.More
