Traveling through OH I decided to stop in at Panera for a healthier food option. This location is just off the interstate and when I arrived it was quite busy. I ordered the Tortellini Chicken Alfredo. Including tax, it was almost $10. I was very disappointed with my lunch. It consisted of a small portion of tortellini, a little bit of seasoning, and a tiny bit of chicken sprinkled on top — The chicken looked...like cat food that had been sent through a wood chipper, and pieces of it were bordering on pink. Broccoli would have been nice, but there was none here. It is beyond doubtful that the pasta was made in-house, and it is likely that my lunch saw the microwave as it was prepared. My lunch came with a small slice of baguette, which did not taste fresh, nor was it warm at all. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Panera bread is the snobbiest of all restaurants and is, quite plainly, a scam. You’ve got to have quite some nerve to charge $9 for what I ate (and to charge what Panera charges for their sandwiches). They market themselves as “Food as it should be” but I honestly have never seen any qualities in their food that any other restaurant should envy.More
Panera used to be my go to place for breakfast but no more. Not sure what is going on lately. Stopped here for a quick bite on the way to Dayton. It was 9:30 am on a Saturday and the were completely out of coffee!?!...Not just one blend, but all blends! This is not good. To make things even worse it took approximately 20 minutes to get our food. I should have gone somewhere else. It's sad that you pay top dollar for quality food and get so little in return.More
Service has a lot to be desired. Saw employees earing out of bacon container with her bare hands. Hopefully, this Panera gets their act together soon. Many bad experiences here.
We live in the Sunbury area so we eat here often. While it seems pricey the food is good wholesome food. We enjoy Panera and especially love their soups and tuna fish sandwiches.
My wife and I like to stop at this Panera for their "Pick 2" menu. You get a cup of soup and a sandwich with several choices for both. We have tried several and have not found one we did not like.
We were pleasantly surprised by this well kept, clean, and friendly stop on our way to Columbus. We only wish our Panera Bread in Fort Worth had the same clean appearance. (We have enjoyed this same brand in Johnstown, PA and Cedar Hill, TX.) The...food was good and the coffee fresh. The staff was friendly.More
My wife and I were out doing some Christmas Shopping, saw this restaurant and decided to stop at the drive thru. We ordered the Roast Turkey Avacado BLT sandwich and the new Turkey Sandwich, both full size. The service was fast, very friendly and courteous....Both sandwiches were very good and wrapped well for take-out. We enjoyed them both. The full size sandwiches were very large and we probably could have split one. We have eaten in at several Panera Bread Locations in the past but never at a drive thru and will not hesitate to stop at one in the future.More
Stopped for breakfast. Line was 6 deep and waited 10 mins to order. Never gave us our coffee. Took 10 more mins to get order. Made one sandwich wrong and had to return. Had to go find a fork for us in the back. Not...the normal standards of a Panera. Staff seemed confused on how to make sandwiches and drinks.More
Visited for lunch with my daughter. We had the pick 2 with macaroni and cheese and French onion soup. She had the whole grain roll and I had the French baguette. I have never had the macaroni and cheese at Panera and it is to...die for. Very rich and creamy. The French onion soup is great; I have had it before. The service is good; friendly. The layout of the restaurant is a bit weird but not uncomfortable. Prices are very reasonable. There are also bakery selections if you have room left. We did not. I look to Panera as a good place to go with a varied and delicious menu.More
