We visited the Glenlaurel in the fall of 2016. Our cottage, The MacIntosh, was inviting, quiet, luxurious, and supplied every need we could imagine for our stay. The linens are top notch, the small kitchenette is was well appointed, the soft celtic music playing as we arrived was welcoming, the fireplaces were a romantic enjoyment after dinner, and the private... We stayed at Glenlaurel 5 nights and ate dinner there two nights. The meals are in the European tradition, mutliple courses and each course flows into the next. The chefs are outstanding and come to each table to review the meals. IF you love good food in a wonderful atmosphere, plan a visit soon to Glenlaurel. You and your stomach... More

Breakfasts, six-course and seven-course meals, and prepared picnic lunches are all great quality. Interesting flavor combinations, fresh ingredients, and expertly prepared.

Please, Glen Laurel, this is a down to earth area, its not really Scotland. No need to be so formal, and the staff cant do it anyway. We sat in the basement for a price fix dinner, with a bottle of wine with dinner and tip amounting to $180. Save yourself the money and go to Inn and Spa where... More

Dinner at Glenlaurel is an experience. Six course meals on the weekdays, seven on Saturday. The food is fantastic, the ambiance is excellent, the presentation fabulous. The meal on Saturday is highlighted with a performance on bagpipes. The chef will visit your table during desert to answer any questions or comments you might have. Wonderful experience.

I would like to share with you how my visits to Glenlaurel have made a permanent impression on the way I seek lodging - at least at a B&B. Approximately 20 yrs. ago I wanted to take my son (who had just turned 21) to a special place in honor of his birthday. I didn't want to go too far... More

My Daughter and I wanted a unique nice place to spend time together before she went off to college out of state. The photos on line do not do this place justice, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The property, accommodations, food, staff were wonderful !!! Highly recommended at least staying 2 days. We LOVED it !!!!!
