My wife and I went with some friends to this location. Fantastic atmosphere and food. The apps were delicious and the lamb that I got for the main was huge and flavorful. This makes for a great night out with friends and comes off as...More

I would go with the mixed grill. I only eat lunch there as it is near my client's office, but they will allow you to order off the dinner menu. Mezze platter is great.

If I were to compare this place to any particular country I would say Lebanese food which is terrific when done well. It's similar to Greek and Turkish food. Lots of healthy green salads with grilled meats and the amazing hummus that needs to be...More

Phoenician is by far one of the best Mediterranean cousine restaurants in the Cincinnati area. If I could name my favorite I would say the lamb kebab. Seasoned and cooked to perfection, it represents to me the authentic flavors of the east. Try together with...More

We had a fabulous dinner here. No leftovers. Great service. We were at a loss with the options. Our waitress, Karen, was very patient and informative. The owner stopped at our table.

Had a family night here and while the server, whom I can’t their name, was fantastic and funny and full of info on the dishes, the food was just ok with lamb chops being the best overall dish. Honestly can’t remember what all we had...More

This was our first visit to the Phoenician Taverna, but it won’t be our last. The food was delicious and the service attentive. My wife has Celiac and requires gluten free and our niece prefers vegan and their needs were easily met with a wide...More

I think you should call the owners of the restaurant, a friendly man and his wife. I know what halal meat is, and I respect the teachings of the Quoran.

Try visiting the restaurant. They seem fairly busy and low on staff. The phone may be a lower priority over serving customers in-house.
