The service here is always great, and the food is second to none. There is a wide variety cuisine to choose from, and I have never been disappointed! Try their breakfast and casserole. It's all delicious!
We showed up only about 45 minutes before closing (we didn't know) but got a primo seat on the patio. The waitress was friendly and didn't hurry us in any way. Her recommendation of the steak burrito hit the spot. Everything was prompt, hot and...delicious. Well done, Starliner Diner!More
Our first time having breakfast here. Easy 15 minute drive from downtown Columbus Prompt and friendly service from Joyce. We had huevos rancheros with scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese on corn tortillas smothered with delicious rancheros sauce served with black beans and potatoes and the...breakfast burrito filled with eggs, ham, refried beans and chili sauce and covered with red sauce. We also had the Cuban French toast as an appetizer to share. Delicious cubes of bread drenched in batter and deep fried and served with fresh fruit. Good hot coffee. All around a top notch dining experience.More
We had been recommended to come to this place by waitstaff at Tommy's Diner. Great recommendation! Thankfully they were seating (many places still were not) and we were seated right away. Somewhat limited menu for dinner, but several great sounding options. Ended up with the...Adobo pork loin. Pork was just a bit dry, but plenty of adobo sauce to be able to use as a condiment. White rice and black beans were great....mixed in with the extra adobo sauce made them even better. Husband had the Cajun Jambalaya and added shrimp. States it had a good amount of spice without being too hot. Came with 'cuban bread'; a thick slice of bread that was great! I suspect all of their offerings would be good. Go check them outMore
Six of us had breakfast here a week ago. The french toast was made with homemade sourdough bread and it was out of this world. The portions were easily large enough to split. The service was fast and pleasant. We will be back soon.
This was rated #1 and it did not disappoint. Very interesting and varied menu with a Latin touch. Got the night's special "Ropa Veiga" Cuban pork BBQ and the waiter offered to sub the rice with roasted veggies..wonderful! Came with homemade bread and the portion...was exra large. Very cool place with an excellent chef. I highly recommend if you want something authentic..non-chain/independent.More
We had a mixed experience here.
The decor is fun and the vibe is personal so we were looking forward to a nice tasty food experience. The waiter was super attentive and the coffee was really good.
However... notwithstanding that my photos of the food...make everything look really good. Presentation-wise there were no complaints - it all looked good so everything started off really well.
My meal, a vegetarian breakfast burrito was good. The portion size was great so no issues there. The home fries were edible and tasted like they had been made well before they were served and were kept hot somewhere. That was the only complaint about my meal.
A friend had the Vera Cruz Salad and fries. The salad was too citrusy with nothing to balance it out; it ended up just being too much. The fries were on the same par as the homefries. They tasted like they had been prepared ahead of time and then plash fried to warm them back up again. Pretty much a disaster taste-wise.
Another friend had an omelet and home fries. The omelet was perfectly cooked but we have already talked about the homefries.
Our final friend had a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was really nicely done but the fries were poor.
To sum up, an amount of the meal was ok but anything to do with salad or potatoes was a bit of a disaster.
I cannot say I will be rushing back. I found no real consistency in the quality of the food so it worked out as a bit of a crap-shoot. It is not as if anything on the menu was hard to cook but the way that the potato products are cooked leaves a lot to be desired.More
Enjoyed Starliner with friends on a Sunday for lunch. Very busy time to go, but the food was really good. Breakfast items and also lunch items on the menu. They serve the Impossible burger which was amazing!

I am not sure but I would guess they do. Alot of the dishes are mostly meats and vegetables. You would have to check their menu. They also have alot of specials and they could probably make you something that was.
