This place is so variable. Sometimes the food is perfectly fine but sometimes it's awful. Yesterday it was awful. My partner had the steak, which was dry this time. I had pasta carbonara with chicken. It tasted like sauce from a packet and the chicken was a weird texture and taste. Can you make the quality more consistent guys?

Large size meals. Old fashioned but ok. Had wheelchair access to restaurant, but then to go to the toilet was extremely difficult. Would not go again if with friends needing a disability friendly toilet.

In late February whilst on a driving holiday around Tasmania we stumbled on this gem.The food was well cooked and really good.We had a seafood basket which was great value and delicious. In fact it was the best seafood we ate whilst in Tasmania. Excellent service and quick. Would recommend.

6 of us ate here last week while staying in Swansea. It's a nice little RSL, with good honest people and tasty food, good size portions and not expensive. The service was really great and while the place is a little dated, it does what it does really well and caters perfectly to its market. We will definitely return when... More

was visiting Swansea for a couple of days and we went to the RSL on the Saturday night. Wanted to watch the tennis and keep up with the tennis scores. Service at the bar was lovely, friendly and informed young lady who told us about one of the local wineries - Milton. Food was ok, could not believe they were... More

We arrived on a very busy night but staff were friendly and food was good. Wait times were reasonable considering the number of guests.

Not much choice in Swansea: we ended up there for dinner. The atmosphere of a salvation army place. The food is usual tassie : battered Fish or steaks, chips or Salad . And a Big cross above the kitchen door. Add on top that we had a table near the toilet door ...

Thank you for reviewing our Bistro, we are currently in the process of renovations to address the issue of the table near the toilets. With regards to the displaying of the cross, this is a mark of respect and honour to our servicemen & servicewomen and something we are very proud of. More
