We went to the Brown Dog, for a good coffee on a Sunday morning, and the place was extremely busy, therefore service was slower than usual. The coffee was good however, and the prices are fairly much what you would expect.

The coffee and service here was great! Quite inexpensive as well at around $6.40 for a double espresso and a long black with a dash of cream. It was also nice to be remembered the second time we had coffee there.

Hi, im sorry to hear of your terrible experience. It is apparent that you did not have this experience at my premises The Brown Dog, we do not serve Chilli Chocolate and have not had cheese cake in our fridge for a long time. It would appear that you have mistaken us with another venue who do serve those products.... More

We visited The Brown Dog twice during a recent weekend visit to Stanley. It was recommended to us by our guest house host, and I have to agree that it is the best coffee in Stanley. The shop also has a lot of souvenirs for sale and has a very rustic feel. Will definitely go back on our next visit.

We popped in and had Tea, hot chocolate and raisin toast by the fire. A lovely selection of gifts and decor items. We purchased a book and I did several laps of the shop looking at all the lovely items
