Great meals and milkshakes, sausages and chips were good. Generous servings and reasonable prices, got busier towards lunchtime.

We stopped in here for an afternoon snack and returned the next day for breakfast, both meals were great and the coffee sensational. We just had some toasted sandwiches and the were great.Breakfast consisted of just good old poached eggs on beautiful toast, the eggs were bright orange inside and cooked to perfection. Absolutely beautiful. Its very nice to just... More

After being here in 2012, we were so looking forward to having more of their curry scollop pies. What a bit of a disappointment. Although the pie was nice to eat, there was very few scallops in it. At $12 each it was overpriced for what we received.

We dropped in for lunch. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was cosy and the prices reasonable. The food was delicious and the coffee great. This was where I first sampled a scallop pie. I had several more during our trip. Definitely a great place for lunch.

The Swinging' Anchor Cafe makes great scallop pies and servies good coffee. Great service. We dined at lunch mid-week and there wasn't a vacant table.

Most of the other cafes in Stanley don't seem to open before 9:00. The swinging anchor was open and we stopped for coffee. The service was very friendly and we were soon joined by other locals having breakfast - always a good sign.

My husband and I fancied a cooked breakfast on our last morning in Stanley, so we chose this cafe. I ordered eggs benedict with bacon and a pot of tea, hubby had the big breakfast! Which was huge! My meal was fab, very tasy and no complaints from Tom, just that he couldnt finish it all :) The service was... More

considering my last review was removed, but upon reading "other reviews" about your terrible service I guess mine was not far off! My friends and I visited back in August we were disgusted with the extremely rude customer service. The ice cream did make up for the poor hospitality. Will not be back.

We were closed for Winter and did not reopen till September. Obviously you have the wrong Café. More
