Two out of three nights were spent dining at the Stanley Hotel. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and accommodating and a great indicator of its quality and popularity is the fact that it is extremely popular with the locals.

Our food was great and they were good sized meals. We shared an entree of Crumbed Camembert Cheese and it was plenty for 2.

Stopped here with a group of friends in 2012 and had a grest experience, so when we visited Stanley again this week we stopped in again. The pub looks amazing and is a credit to the owners. We had dinner here Friday night and was amazed at how good the food was. My chicken schnitzel was the freshest I've ever had. However, we either had to go to the bar to order to wave down someone to order.

Visited this bistro last year and still good value. Great and varied menu but still prefer the beer battered fish and chips/salad. Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere.

The dining room was warm and cheerful. We went at night so could not see the view. Service was very good and our meals were nicely presented and delicious. I am gluten and lactose intolerant, and my meal was adjusted to suit my requirements. I had fish and vegetables.

The Stanley Hotel is centrally located in town and offers bistro, decking and bar dining options - perfect for the variable weather in these parts. The Seafood Chowder was great with plenty of fish and scallops and the Cape Grim rib eye was sensational - lucky we had a two hour lunch to fit it all in! Good wine list,... More
