Not the best or cheapest fare but if you are a movie buff or like Errol Flynn then it is a must see. The memorabilia is plentiful and very interesting.

Killer scallop pies, extremely friendly service. I came into the pub part last night and and asked for the bartender to turn on the women's afl. She immediately started to look for it on TV. It ended up not being on TV due to the men's but we had a chat about women's footy as we both used to play.... More

Stopped in here for coffee on our way through town. Great little bakery/café decked out with heaps of Errol Flynn & Marylyn Munroe movie memorabilia & old movie lights etc. Creates a great atmosphere while you a dining and checking out the bits and pieces on every wall. Friendly staff and good service. What was the coffee like? Great with... More

This place was amazing! Not only is the food good and a great hot coffee, which is just what you need on a long drive across the state, but the ambiance really took the cake. Its an old movie inspired place with photos and movie paraphernalia all over the cafe. You could spend hours just reading the walls and make... More

We visited this place around lunch time and had the creamy sauce scallop and pepper steak pies. The sauce inside the scallop pie was the consistency of milky yaywater and literally filled my plate when cut open. It even squirted onto the table. The pie base was completely uncooked. In contrast the pepper steak pie contained dried out meat and... More

In all my time in Tasmania this place was the worst, most lazy service , totally uninterested girls working, shocking coffee, and food was horrendous. If yhe owners saw the behaviour of the staff surely they would be sacked. It can be a great business but the girls are more worried about there phones than the customer service. I hope... More

I tried the pepper pie and came back again. The Guinness pie is the best pie I've ever had. Hot, crisp and meaty. Not salty, not too much gravy. Keep up the great baking. You have my thanks and admiration for your passion.

Delicious pies that are baked fresh on premises, LOVELY quality coffee and quirky movie decor. Was pretty packed when we went, so beware the lunch rush!

Customer service was very poor, the food was over priced, the pies didn't look fresh and the milkshake was bland. The girl at the front didn't even know what was on the menu and they didn't have half the ingredients to make a simple toasted sandwich. Most places in this area are extremely friendly, this place was not. I'd avoid... More

An interesting place, with every wall covered with movie memorabilia - mostly Errol Flynn, with some Marilyn Monroe. The menu was mostly pies and burgers. We had pies with salad and potato cakes. The pies were delicious but were barely tepid. There was a good range of choices; chicken, beef, scallop cauliflower - in a variety of sauces. The coffee... More
