We stopped here on the way to Ouse and were charmed by the venue, the proprietor and the wonderful bakery food on offer. All we wanted was directions but we decided to take some goodies for afternoon tea and were not disappointed. Worth diverting through Hamilton for if you pass that way. Worth driving from New Norfolk if you want... More

I guess most business here is from passing traffic but my experience(s) in this cafe make it much more worthy. Great, fresh coffee. Fabulous home made pies (try the outstanding Cauliflower Cheese) and very warm, friendly service. It deserves to do well and your stopping here will help.

We stop over at Hamilton for a quick bite and was pleasantly surprised by this cafe's relatively good selection of pies. Since Scallop pies were supposed to be great in this region, we ordered 1 and we were not disappointed. There was a generous amount of fresh scallops in the pie and it was piping hot. Delicious!

4 of us stopped here on the way to Richmond. We had the meat pies and never had better the rest of the trip. Also had great ice cream! They looked over our map and gave us suggestions and let us buy something that was not on the menu after it was admired. I was concerned when told the toilet... More

Welcome to the new owners and a sad farewell to the original proprieter. Food, service atmosphere, value all as good as one can get. Have called in numerous times in the past and on this visit, Sunday 10th, had the pleasure of meeting the new owners. Can recommend a visit to the touring motorcycle and car club fraternity. Best wishes... More

Called in at almost closing time on our way from Strahan to Hobart. Delighted not to be turned away after a long drive, we were welcomed by very friendly staff. Food was excellent, especially the 'tractor cake'! Very clean. Well worth a visit.

The Hamilton Bakehouse Cafe is now the Cluny Farm Cafe, a multi-generational family farming commitment to hand reared produce as the basis for stunning Bakehouse food and hospitality. A great stop on your way north or south on the Lyell highway. Hope this summer treats you, as it has us, with good experiences and the best of weather!

This is the place to stop for great food and coffee. The service is excellent, and the open fire will start coming in to its own from now on. Best of all was the friendly service, and the encouragement to get back on my bike. I'll be back, and can't think of a better place to stop.
