A thank you to Tony & co for providing a good menu for me and my vegan friend. The couscous filled tomato on mashed potato was delicious. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Went to dinner at the tonic as a group of 10 we all had beautiful meals (forgot to ask for my roasted beef fillet to be cooked well done which was my unfortunate mistake: and I had the pork belly which was beautiful The side dishes were a good size to share and the dessert was great! The staff were... More

Quite often you go to a restaurant with good reviews often to be let down. This is the opposite of Tonic. My wife and I had a celebratory dinner on a night were it was booked out. If the kitchen was ever going to disappoint it's when they are stretched to full capacity. The highlights include the pork entree, an... More

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary with wonderful food, good local wine and friendly service. The Rabbit crepenette and Duck lasagne were exceptional. We had an early sitting, were not rushed, however the air con and fans were too much to sit too long.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at Tonic and their reputation did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived it was a splendid evening. Excellent and friendly service from the lovely Hannah and absolutely delicious meals. The cod was scrumptious, but the blood plum soufflé dessert was the dish of the night. An absolutely delicious and lovely evening. Thank... More

A group of us went to celebrate a 70th. Everyone's meals looked pretty nice except for those who had the lamb steaks as they were so tough and rubbery they really were a chore to eat and most didn't finish them. Waitresses seemed a little disorganised but I heard they were new - they didn't impact our meal though other... More

Six of us came to Tonic from around the district for Sunday lunch. We had booked a table, but the restaurant was relatively quiet. We all opted for the 2 course option - some having an entree with the main and others having dessert. 3 side dishes were also ordered. We all commented on the clean plates after the mains... More

Latest visit last Thursday and as usual the food and service were fabulous. Before you even get to the starters, there is "amuse-bouche" a little bite of seasonal goodies, then house made bread - crusty warm and irresistible. Confit of pork belly with fennel for starters was beautiful, and I can never order anything but the fish for main. Blue... More

Stayed in Millthorpe NSW for a family Christening last weekend. One of our highlights in this historic village was an evening meal at Tonic Restaurant with friends on the Saturday evening. An Exquisite meal of very high standard. Two course or three course meal at $65 and $75.00 per head respectively. Worth every cent for the uniqueness of the produce... More
