I have wanted to visit East Beach cafe for ages! It’s fab on the outside and relaxed on the inside!! The menu, wine & cocktail lists were all short and sharp. Crisp anchovies with chilli as an appetiser followed by substantial salt & pepper squid...More

A lovely and unusual venue to stay warm while watching the sun go down on a wintery evening on the horizon out to sea. Would be an ideal spot in summer in the open air with all the glass doors pulled back. Lunch had finished...More

We came with our grown-up daughter to visit a flat she had bought nearby and were looking for a quick lunch to celebrate. She knew about this extraordinary building right on the beach and as I am not very mobile at the moment it was...More

Food is OK, though I think a bit expensive for what it is. Being right on the beach is very nice. But.....acoustics in the metal shelled building rather noisy, and was impossible for a friend of mine who wears hearing aids.

We were accommodated efficiently and effectively by lovely staff. Varied menu with a great breakfast choice that was really good value for money and delicious. Lovely location in a quirky building with great views. Would definately return.

Fantastic breakfast with views of the sea. Friendly and efficient service with a smile. We had a table for ten. All breakfasts arrived pretty much together and there were ten empty plates at the end. Could not find a fault.

The award winning building is quirky and the location very scenic. We went in November and so it was also very windy. It is the first I️ have noticed the wind farm just off the coast. We went on a ‘deal’ which was very good...More

Having bought a special deal for the East Beach Cafe from one of these internet sites, to be honest I was not expecting too much. I purchased lunch for four people (2 courses and a glass of wine) for just over £50 and thought it...More

Right on the beach with spectacular views and a relaxed atmosphere we serve uncomplicated and fresh seafood made from the very best ingredients in an iconic award winning building. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner inside the cafe and offer take out from our kiosk on the end of the building. We recommend booking a table, you can do this by emailing or calling us at the cafe.
