Food served cold. Poor presentation of food. Cheeseburger had no cheese in it!!!! Complained staff didn't care. Desserts were brought out whilst we were still eating main course. Server was going to just leave them on the table. We said no, taken back to kitchen. When came back out dunkin donuts were like golf balls as had been heated twice!!!!

Ordered a rump , swapping sides for salad. Plate arrived with chips... asked to swap for salad, was tutted at and plate returned bearing just the salad garnish... asked for more salad, no apologies or anything from server... steak lukewarm when I eventually got to eat it. My colleagues had the halumi wraps... said they were awful too.

Food was lovely apart from kids donuts which appeared to be microwaved within an inch of their life. Fantastic prices. Service unbelievably slow. Waited 50mins for main meal and 40 mins for dessert !

My meal was dreadful. The steak was inedible as it was full of gristle (and I have good teeth) -- My husband and I were pretty much the only people eating at the time as the pub was quiet. The whole meal including my sauce was cold and the chips were obviously cheap and poorly attempted to be warmed up.My husbands... More

Came out with friends for a nice meal not expecting anything amazing as it's a hungry horse you expect cheap grub but to find out they don't have 3 of the original 4 things we originally wanted in a restaurant that's about as lively as a morgue a and it taking 45 minutes to find out about one more to... Very slow service, wanted an hour for our meal. Two items on menu not available i.e. Jumbo Cod and Chips and Oceans a Plenty. Quality of the food mixed, some OK, steak tough Scampi mushy.

You don't expect haute cuisine in a Hungry Horse but it should be edible, warm and reasonably priced. The cost was okay, shame about the other two. I will not be rushing back here.
