We recently, after some time away, revisited the area. We had always enjoyed The Foresters and looked forward to dining with them again......we weren't disappointed. The decor has been tastefully completed and there is a great little area off the main restaurant area, which allowed us to enjoy the outstanding and innovative food, with a degree of intimacy but whilst... We love this place. We love the service. We love the atmosphere. We love the consistently great food. We love the fact the guys remember us even though we are fickle 'regulars'. We particularly love the 'overbearing' (not our words) host and her 'performance' (again not our words). Those who are great in the hospitality industry require presence and personality,... More

I love this place! The food and service is 2nd to none, it's how a pub should be! The food has always been amazing too! I highly recommend Sunday roast here! You won't be disappointed! It does get very busy so that can delay the food sometimes, but it's definitely worth the wait I promise!

Having visited this local pub and restaurant on many occasions, the food was not so good this time. The evening was almost spoiled by an over-bearing waitress who loves the sound of her own voice. Conversation was drowned out by her "performance" at neighbouring tables.

Wow, was it really 2011 when I last visited this place? I really should see that side of the family more! Shared the Roast Beef and Lobster Tail Risotto with my sis and the portions were huge, the taste sensational and the service brilliant. All topped off with a gorgeous cheese board sourced from a local cheesemonger, this was a... More

The Foresters is a lovely looking pub in Hampton Wick. Twinkly lights, candles in bottles, fires, a lovely snug and a is a great place for a drink. However, the food is another matter. I went there a couple of years ago and was very unimpressed by the food then, so I'm not quite sure why I went again with... More

My husband & myself visited here to try out their 'Award Winning Sunday Roast' as we wanted to book a large birthday party in a few weeks time and wanted to sample the food first. We ordered a drink ( pint of Guinness & a diet coke),my husband said it was a terrible tasting pint but we thought we'd stay... More

Stopped in for dinner, unplanned. Great staff and delicious food. The waiter recommended wines for each dish, and the choices were top notch. Interesting wine list, good selection of standard and different dishes. Menu is quite meat biased.

Stopped by for a quick pint in early part of the evening before heading back home to Fulham, so not familiar with this part of town, but on entering it felt very welcoming, cosy and quaint. We were served in a timely manner by attentive staff. Really liked the style.. there were some lovely features were we were sat -... More

Went here for a Sunday roast. Such friendly and nice staff, and a good roast. The roast beef and Yorkshire puds was very good, and the puddings deliciously rich. Will be back for sure.

Hampton Wicks The Foresters, situated on the High Street, brings a splash of Parisian style and Brooklyn charm to the traditional neighbourhood pub-restaurant. The wonderful dcor, incorporating open fires, cosy leather sofas and exposed brick walls meet with a no-children-under-ten policy to create a sophisticated, grown up feel thats still fun thanks to Sunday evenings Big Quiz (with a 50 cash prize), a regular geeky games nights, featuring all your favourite classic board games, live music performances on a Saturday as you dine, and a generally relaxed, convivial atmosphere created by both staff and guests. The Foresters modern British menu changes every month, the chefs skills and imagination supported by seasonal produce fresh from the market, allowing for delectable daily specials. The kid of local most Londoners must dream of finding, The Foresters, with its Sunday roasts and friendly feel, well stocked bar and blackboard offerings, is a real must-visit pub. Children must be over the age of 10 to dine in this restaurant.
