To tell the truth I was a bit disappointed by this restaurant. Service was very good, but the food I can only be describe as mediocre, but not the price. I had the chicken korma and to me it was very sweet and lacking in...More
As a regular of The Mahan which has now sadly closed I decided to try The Darjeeling. We had a mixed evening to say the least. Good: Garlic King Prawns, lovely Mushroom rice, lovely Bad: Coconut rice - awful. No taste. Chicken Korma - ok...More
Used to come to this restaurant a lot in the past, but havent done so for a while now. The young staff were friendly enough, but the senior guys only just; far from the warm and engaging service I recall in the past. So about...More
First Impression Sadly, I have to say our experience of eating at this restaurant was very disappointing. I dined with 5 others and we all agreed for food, service and atmosphere, this is one of the worst Indian restaurants we have eaten at. None of...More

Excellent range of food, with great advice from helpful waiters. I wasn't sure what to order, so our waiter made recommendations that were perfect. Really happy with the quality of the food and will be returning!
Solo business traveller so the welcome and friendly service really important Had the mixed grill and some spinach. Both excellent. Will be back. Not too busy but early Tues eve. Lots of staff so service level high.

Dropped in with 5 mates for curry night. Food ranged from chicken buna up to lamb Naga which was very chilli hot. Great service and food well prepared. Staff are probably more engaging and friendlier than the Mahaan. Highly recommended.
